Before, I used self-tanners in spray or cream form - I had to moisturize my skin with lotion before applying. With this product, there's no need for such preparation, you can apply it directly to clean, dry skin. The only downside is that it slightly stains the fingers (I apply it without gloves, didn't have this problem with previous self-tanners), and there's a mild specific smell on the skin until it's washed off, but it's not a big deal.
