It's not exactly a gel, but more like a cream-gel, but it still lathers. I'm not sure how long it will last since we recently bought it, but we'll see. This product is excellent. The scent is wonderful. However, it is not suitable for children with dermatitis or eczema. For those conditions, the Uriage Xemose series is recommended.
I purchased this product as a shower cream for myself. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, instead, it becomes soft and silky. It doesn't require a large amount to use, which is great since we have soft water. Those with hard water containing a lot of mineral salts may experience higher consumption, so don't blame this cream for that, it's not its fault but rather your water's.

Everything is great: a very pleasant scent (in terms of intensity, it would be more suitable for an adult product), color, consistency, foams abundantly, and cleanses well. The only drawback is that it still dries out the skin! Five minutes after use, the freshly washed soft and moisturized skin suddenly starts to burn and urgently demands lotion or cream. In my opinion, it is quite "harsh" for a baby.
