The formula is dry, but I believe it's in good condition. The mascara truly doesn't leave any marks on the upper or lower lid - it's perfect for those with oily skin or droopy upper lids. It didn't work for me because I have long lashes and it somehow shortens them due to the nice pigmentation from the lash line, but it's impossible to "extend" it to the end of the lashes. It doesn't smudge and leaves no marks underneath, so I only use it on my lower lashes. It's not the type of mascara that lengthens or volumizes - it simply colors. If you're looking for a natural effect in your makeup, then it's suitable.
