In the 16th century, Alvise Gritti, a Turkish merchant and diplomat, traveled between Venice and Constantinople, witnessing extraordinary intrigues and captivating stories. He longed to preserve these experiences, and the best way to encapsulate stories and emotions was through perfume. Today, Luca Gritti, a descendant of Alvise Gritti, brings his great ancestor's dreams to life, distilling emotions and conveying them through scents. One such creation is the Dr. Gritti You're So Vain perfume from the Ivy collection.
In the scent You're So Vain, Luca Gritti sought to tame the audacious aroma of blackcurrant. This fragrance best conveys the sense of freedom, the passion to stand out, and the desire to live by one's own rules. For the top notes, the perfumer selected green accords combined with fresh grapefruit and Italian lemon. The heart of the composition features explosive blackcurrant with white tobacco and tangy-sweet red fruits. The base consists of subtly tart patchouli, woody moss, and rich nutmeg.

Dr. Gritti Beyond The Wall is a luxurious niche perfume with a floral-spicy aroma, suitable for both women and men, launched in 2021 by the Italian perfume brand Dr. Gritti.
