The first line of defense in Bracia’s charcoal soap is a potent infusion of licorice root: it boasts anti-allergic, anti-seborrheic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Now comes the heavy artillery: a large dose of activated coconut charcoal, which relentlessly targets acne.

In addition to charcoal, licorice, and black cumin, our charcoal soap is rich in unrefined flaxseed oil. The vitamin E it contains, often called the vitamin of youth, slows down the aging process of cells. The eternal and uncompromising power of charcoal, the steadfast nature of coconut, and the delightful sweetness of licorice seduce the senses with an intriguing and captivating aroma, and the profound darkness of the cosmos.

Licorice root extract has anti-seborrheic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, soothing, and anti-edema properties.
Unrefined flaxseed oil is recommended for dry skin; it soothes, moisturizes, and smooths, helping maintain the skin's water-lipid balance.
Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant (i.e., anti-aging effect), known as the elixir of youth; it smooths and strengthens the skin, nourishes, reduces inflammation, increases elasticity, and protects against redness.
Olive oil: most of us aim for extra virgin olive oil, but in the spirit of zero waste, we opt for pomace oil, which is what can still be extracted from olives after producing extra virgin olive oil—its properties remain largely unchanged, and in soap, the difference is unnoticeable. It contains vitamins A, B, C, and E, moisturizes and smooths the skin, and prevents aging.
