Garnet Leather Eau de Parfum - a new fragrance by L'Artisan Perfumer, inspired by the leather workshops of Morocco. It has created a perfumed water imbued with the unique energy of this extraordinary region. The fragrance is part of the Les Merveilles collection, formerly known as the L'Orient collection.

Perfumer Christophe Raynaud crafted this new scent for L'Artisan Parfumeur, drawing on his memories of Morocco. During his travels, Raynaud stumbled upon a Moroccan leather workshop and was captivated by the craftsmanship of the leatherworkers and the ambiance of the place. These impressions served as the inspiration for Cuir Grenat, a leather fragrance. The scent inspired him to create a new perfume. Exploring the interaction with a dimly lit room filled with the stuffiness, scent of leather, and technological aromas accompanying the tanning and dyeing of leather, and the bright light from outside, he created an unusual aromatic composition in which shining leather with hints of amber decorates powdery raspberry.

It beautifully conveys the contrast between the warm, dimly lit interior of the workshop and the radiant brightness of the external world.

The composition is built around notes of raspberry, leather, and ambrofix. Smoky leather shades intertwine with warm amber and juicy berry accents.

In the aromatic composition, the sweetness of ripe velvety raspberries slowly transitions into the scent of perfectly tanned leather, after which the fragrance dissolves into a shimmering salty-resinous haze of ambroxan. The scent of spicy raspberry leaves and the subtle floral aroma of violet give the composition brightness, while pink pepper wraps the fragrance and introduces the uniqueness of Morocco into it. Coniferous-smoky cedar and musk make the perfume deep and textured. And the smoky-aromatic incense gives it a special mysticism.
