Pani Walewska Classic Perfume

I ordered from the EU. A truly classic Walewska, of course, taking into account the inevitable changes brought about by the development of the chemical industry. I feel it on myself for about twelve hours. The scent on me is heavy, intense, clearly evening-like and suitable for cold seasons. Just the way I remember it from childhood.

I purchased the fragrance from the EU. The bottle design was without a "foot". The scent is non-soapy, non-itchy, and unobtrusive. In my opinion, the scent is more interesting than the original one from the 70s of the last century. It takes me back to my childhood. I bought several bottles because they are cheap and beautiful. Considering its price, it is quite a decent fragrance. It has a cool winter vibe. It reminds me of the smell of plants after rain with a blue sky in the clouds and wet asphalt. It would suit ladies better. It is a good budget option.

Um.... How do I put this. I personally bought the fragrance "rose, lily of the valley, jasmine". And on the Fragrantica website, there is exactly the same information. But on the packaging, it also mentions hyacinth. This is unexpectedly sad for me. Please add hyacinth to the fragrance description. It is certainly indicated on the packaging photo, but somehow I missed this detail.

I have purchased this fragrance several times. I ordered it from the EU. My mom knows and loves it, and so do I. It is a classic and indescribably wonderful scent that you cannot forget or mistake.

I am very disappointed. The bottle is the same, the packaging, codes, etc., but something completely different is inside. It has a completely different smell, none of the old components are there. The main note, which sets this fragrance apart, is missing. These are completely different new perfumes. Perhaps someone will like them, someone who is not familiar with the classic version. But I am very upset. The gift did not turn out as planned.

Original, especially now when few people are familiar with the history of perfumery and its classics. As mentioned correctly below, it is a chypre fragrance from the 70s, and that's exactly what it is. My mom has this little bottle in her collection, it's over 25 years old. I think this fragrance would be suitable for those who truly understand perfumery and the years of fragrance releases, and of course, know how to wear perfumes. In my opinion, this fragrance is absolutely wintery, and it's better to apply it on clothes and in the evening.

Long-lasting classic, especially in our time when the art of perfumery is not valued and many fall for cheap advertising and banal perfume notes. Moreover, the perfume needs to be worn properly, this one, for example, is clearly not for daytime use (in our time) and not for warm seasons (although, of course, there are enthusiasts)). But as an evening perfume, especially in cold weather and, for example, on thicker fabrics, it is perfect. And also, it is not an "age-related" perfume (such perfumes do not exist), I, as a collector and perfume enthusiast, can affirm this with 100% accuracy.

My first impression of this fragrance is that it reminds me of the TRIPLE COLOGNE from my childhood. I can't say it's completely awful, but the scent is definitely subjective and may be more suited for an older age group.

For elderly people who want to reminisce, this is the perfect scent. It reminds me of my grandmother's powder, which is the main and predominant note. I didn't buy it here, but I have the original bottle. It has been sitting for several years now, as I read that it should be left untouched. At first, I diligently tested it once a month, then once every few months, and eventually, I forgot about it. This year, both during the summer and now, the main and constant powder scent is no longer present. The fragrance has lost its sharpness compared to when I first purchased it. However, these are the only changes I have noticed.

I have been dreaming of trying a perfume from this series for a long time, hesitating because of the price, but the advertisement finally got to me. I purchased it here on Makeup. I was hoping for a super-feminine, mysterious, and elegant scent in a beautiful little bottle. The design of the bottle differs slightly from the photo, but the content disappointed me. It has a monotonous smell of soap, not long-lasting on the skin, but it stays on clothes for a long time without leaving a trail. Maybe I just haven't figured out this product yet... Someone correctly wrote in a review that if you like Chanel No. 5, you will like this fragrance too. It is a very unusual and tangy scent that I really enjoyed. I bought all six variations and they are the best. The black ones are just okay, nothing special. The white and gold ones are tolerable, but not great. The pale pink and red ones are the sweetest, but I didn't like them. Overall, these perfumes are decent for the price, and you can indulge yourself a bit. If there are any that you don't like, you can always give them to someone else.

I bought these for my mom, she had them for a long time and she loves them. She was really happy when I told her they were available on the website. However, I have to say, they are a complete disappointment and absolutely awful! They don't just not smell good, they actually stink! We were shocked and then burst out laughing because they are definitely not perfume, not even close. Maybe they are different in different batches, I read reviews before buying them, maybe they are being counterfeited, I don't even know how else to justify this smell. They wouldn't even be suitable as air fresheners because they smell absolutely disgusting. I have no complaints about the store though, the delivery, service, and attention to customers are always top-notch. You guys are great!

The manufacturers have ruined the perfume. Compared to the versions from 1985 and 1989 that I had (which then simply disappeared everywhere), this is the WORST NIGHTMARE! Only a liquid residue of the initial note remains from its former magnificence, and even that is stale. There is no trace of the heart and final notes, only a diluted old men's cologne scent. It's just heartbreaking to think that no one will probably ever experience that wonderful, amazingly unfolding and long-lasting trail that the young boys and men standing next to you in the trolleybus eagerly inhaled. I am a lover of retro fragrances and I often feel nostalgic for my childhood, but I had never encountered this particular scent before. I was immediately drawn to the bottle, inspired by Valentin Valensky's work, and after watching "The Ulan Ballad," I decided to purchase it. At first, I wasn't fond of the scent, but eventually, I grew to love it. I would describe it as a cool, cologne-like chypre fragrance. It is unique and very cozy, at least in my personal opinion.
