The color has a very strong reddish undertone, making the application extremely inconvenient - the entire bathroom is covered in reddish spots. I will never purchase it again.
The color has a very pronounced red undertone, and the application is extremely inconvenient - the entire bathroom is covered in reddish dots. I will never buy it again.
The mousse is amazing, especially for those with red hair, as it quickly removes the red pigment. The mousse saves the day. It allows you to restore a beautiful copper color in just 10 minutes, without the need for constant dyeing. It applies evenly, as long as you apply it correctly. It even applies well to the roots and doesn't damage the hair at all, so I definitely recommend it.
I'm not a colorist, but I suspect that the girls who give negative ratings to the light shades have dyed their hair, probably not for the first time, at a local salon, then touched up their roots at home with a palette and decided to cover it all up with this mousse, and now they wonder why they have green and reddish spots.
Of course, I'm exaggerating, but this mousse, in my opinion, is meant to be applied by a professional who did the blonde.
It looks great on my naturally dark hair. However, I wouldn't risk applying it myself on light hair.
The mousse is great, 3-0, it is very noticeable on dark, porous hair, almost black, but after a couple of applications, it becomes lighter, like dark chocolate. I leave it on for 40 minutes, sometimes even longer. It stains the hands a lot, gloves are necessary! It also stains the scalp. The water, bathtub, walls, towel, everything turns purple from it. The water still runs colored after a few washes.
Let's not deceive ourselves, this is not hair care, it does make the hair shiny after application, but only until the first wash.
I definitely recommend it for dark shades. I want to try it now to see how it works with gray hair. I was pleasantly encouraged by comments that it slightly tones down gray hair.
P.S. There used to be a burgundy color here, and it lasted so long that you could see the roots that had grown out for quite some time.
The color is normal.
I have my own natural chestnut color with light strands. I wanted to refresh the color and make my hair more shiny and even-toned. But here's what happened and how to fix it is unclear. I have already washed my hair five times and it doesn't help.
I am very satisfied with this tonic, as it allows me to avoid coloring my gray hair with permanent dye and keep my hair silky and shiny.
Yesterday I received my order, and today I have already tried it. This product is amazing. The color is perfect. I bought the shade 3-0. It covers gray hair. I'm not sure how long it will last, but the results are fantastic. Use gloves when applying.
I have been using this hair dye constantly, shade 7.0. I am very satisfied with the result, the shade matches the one advertised. My hair feels very soft after using it. It effectively covers gray hair, which is its biggest advantage.
I ordered the 9.5-1 shade and applied it to my regrown roots (light-brown hair). However, I didn't see any noticeable results on my roots or on the previously lightened length. It's quite surprising to get such a result considering the price and the brand.
Instead of having a chestnut-red color, my hair turned to a reddish-brown shade. I wanted to add some shine to my natural russet color. I was extremely disappointed.
The 9.5-1 product does not work at all. It fails to take care of anything and does not provide any toning effect. It is a complete waste of money.
I love this tonic, I have been using it for 3 years and haven't found anything better yet (I was looking for something cheaper). It effectively conceals light gray hair and leaves the hair shiny and silky after use.
It blends well if held for about 30 minutes.
Not worth it, size 9.5-12, makes the hair a reddish-greenish color, and even then only in some areas.
Hello everyone. I also decided to try dyeing my hair. I had highlights on my dark chestnut hair. The light strands started to turn yellow and had an unappealing shade. I decided to try shade 8.1 for a test.
I washed my hair, slightly dried it, and evenly applied the mousse, then combed it through. I left it on for 35 minutes. After that, I rinsed it off and applied the conditioner. I dried it and was pleasantly surprised by the result of this coloring. It was no different from a salon dye job. My hair became soft, silky, with a pleasant scent, and a grayish tint. I don't know how long it will last yet.
As for the downsides, it doesn't cover gray hair and there is a high consumption of product. Will I order again? I'm hesitant because the price has significantly increased.
The shade 9.5-4 beige blonde turned out to be a terrible, unnatural, and bright reddish color on my bleached hair.
I am a dyed blonde, and for me, this product is excellent for maintaining cool blonde hair. I apply it for 20 minutes after washing, and then I apply conditioner.
My hair ended up with blue patches on it. Rating: 9.5-12.
Good, but not perfect. It colored the gray hair 70/30. There are still some gray hairs left in some places. Overall, transitioning from dyeing to dyeing is a useful thing. I kept it for 15 minutes.
I liked the mousse. It is easy to use. After using it, my hair feels smooth and shiny. The color gradually fades. I have applied the color 5.99 on my fifth washed-out base. The color is beautiful, but it is not violet, more like a dark berry shade, not eggplant. It slightly stains the scalp. I have applied it four times already, and there is still enough left in the bottle for one or two more applications. I will buy it again, but in a different shade.
I liked the color, although I expected it to be a shade darker. I used shade 7.0. It turned out to be a beige ash color, without any green or violet undertones. They did the same color at the hair salon, but with different hair dye it turned out to be a shade 9 or something. Well, never mind, in terms of endurance it's not that great. It lasted for two washes. I have two bleached strands near my face, and they turned yellow again. But if you need something for urgent situations or in between coloring sessions, then this is the perfect option.
I am buying my second bottle. Color 3.0! The color is beautiful, rich, and deep! It doesn't have any reddish, red, blue, or green undertones. When washed out, it simply becomes less saturated and gradually fades away. I dye my roots, my natural shade is a cool tone 6. I also dyed it with a cool tone 4 before. Now I want to grow it out and wash out the pigment as much as possible (at least not accumulate it along the length).
The color matched perfectly for me! My hair looks shiny. It covers gray hair, but not 100% and naturally washes out faster from gray strands.
It doesn't require a large amount! If I touch up every 3-4 weeks, one bottle was enough for 5 touch-ups (only the roots).
I can't say that I would use this product for a full coloring. In my opinion, it is not convenient. It doesn't dry out the hair and adds shine.
Definitely a more high-quality and predictable result compared to other toning products.
I decided to try the product on my natural level 7 hair, hoping to achieve a beautiful shade of red. Unfortunately, the outcome was far from what I expected. Not only did the color turn out to be a bright and vibrant red, but the application process also caused excessive hair loss. It was alarming to see my hair fall out in clumps. On top of that, the product completely lacked the desired shine. In the past, I had tried a similar mousse from the year 2000, and the results were fantastic. The color was vivid and the shine was dazzling.
This mousse is great for maintaining color between dye sessions. It doesn't cover grays, but it also doesn't damage the hair.
I chose shade 3 for my base 4.0 (dyed hair).
It gives me the impression of having a laminating effect. My hair looks shiny, the roots are loose, but the ends are not as good. I left it on for 15 minutes with a plastic cap on damp hair. It requires a considerable amount of product.
I am toning my hair with shade 8.77. I have also used the same brand for coloring in shade 8.77 before. The mousse provides a rich reddish color, exactly like the day of fresh coloring. The only downside is that the mousse texture is not as "liquid" and it needs to be evenly distributed. It is difficult to saturate the hair with it, resulting in a significant usage.
I am very satisfied. It took without any stains. I can't get enough of it.
We bought the shade 9.5 - 12. It didn't take at all on the first try. And on the second try, there was a barely noticeable purple undertone. My hair is already lightened... But overall, it should have resulted in a gray color.
Additionally, I would like to add a photo without any filters. I can only attach one comment. This is my hair without any toning, without any ampoules, without anything, just as it really is.
My wife used to buy the number 5 mousse, and it would dye her blonde hair. But now we bought the 3:0, and it didn't give any shade to her medium brown hair.
Great mousse, applies smoothly. I chose a shade slightly darker than desired and it turned out to be a perfect choice.
I purchased this toner in shade 8-1, light sandy blonde. I have bleached hair in shades 9-10, which is thick and porous. The toner applied evenly and I left it on for about 20 minutes. Before rinsing my hair, I applied a little conditioner to the ends and "diluted" it with a small amount of water. The result: a light silver shade throughout the length of my hair, without drying it out, and it looks shiny. The yellow tone is gone. My hair is chest-length and I used half a bottle of the product. Next time, I will add mousse to my hair mask. Overall, the product met my expectations and works better than anti-yellow shampoos. The only downside for me is that it needs to be left on the hair for a long time. It can be used as a "treat" between coloring sessions.
Amazing color! I have been using it for over a year. I naturally have red hair and often have to bleach it again. So here's the thing. Right after the first application, my hair becomes ashy, shiny, and it takes a long time to wash out.
I do not recommend it. I bought the 8-1 product, but the ends turned a strange green-blue-earth color. I followed the instructions completely. It was a waste of money. I had to wash my hair 15 times just to try to get rid of this green color. It was a disaster!
Product review: 4-68 - chocolate with a red undertone. The highlighted ends turned out quite well. In the dark, it looks chocolate-colored, while in the sun, it has a vibrant red hue. My hair feels smooth and well-groomed after using the mousse.
It doesn't work on hair at all. I bought shade 4-68, maybe it depends on the color, but it was a huge disappointment. My hair is light brown and has a few millimeters of natural roots. It only worked somewhat on the roots, giving them a reddish tone, but there was no result on the length of my hair. However, when I washed my hair another time, the water was still tinted red for a long time. This product is completely pointless, and on top of that, it's expensive. And someone mentioned that it moisturizes or nourishes?))) On the contrary, it actually dries out the hair!
9.5-1 is really awesome! I tried it on lightened hair up to level 10 and hair dyed with 9.11 color, but after 2.5-3 weeks of coloring, when the ashy shade faded to a beige-yellowish tone. I left it on a little longer than 5 minutes. The mousse sank into the hair beautifully, giving it a perfect gray "asphalt" shade! It's important to distribute the foam very carefully, otherwise the color will just take on blotches, which are quite noticeable if your natural color is significantly different from the mousse shade. Well, of course, the tone washes out quickly, as it is not a permanent dye. I accidentally dyed my hand gray while applying the mousse)) But the foam doesn't stain the ears, forehead, and neck where it accidentally got on.
As always, everything is excellent.
I also tried shade 7-5 and I really liked it. It gives a warm golden hue.
I am extremely disappointed! I bought the mousse in the shade 9.5-12 and applied it to my fully bleached white hair. It didn't color anything, it didn't take. I applied it several times and it only left a few gray spots on the ends. I want to emphasize that my hair was completely clean and bleached. I wasted almost 300 hryvnias for nothing! It's really upsetting :(
I bought this product from another website in shades 9.5-12 and 9.5-17, and it was absolutely terrible! There wasn't even a hint of color on my already lightened hair (level 10).
Good mousse, it just doesn't cover gray hair very well. But that's exactly why it's a mousse and not hair dye.
Excellent tinting mousse - a lifesaver between colorings. It maintains the color and neutralizes unwanted yellow tones.
I'm buying it for the second time, I completely switched from regular hair dye to this mousse. I dye my hair every two weeks throughout its entire length, leaving it on for 1-1.5 hours. One can of the product lasts for 7-8 applications (I have shoulder-length hair of medium thickness). My hair has improved significantly without constant use of ammonia-based dyes. I choose the 5.0 shade - a nice dark brown color without any unwanted undertones. It's surprisingly easy to apply, no extra hands are needed to dye my own hair. The only downside is that it doesn't cover gray hair, no matter how long I leave it on.
Great mousse. Shade 9.5-1 gently tones down the yellowish tint of bleached hair. Revived my hair after a failed dyeing attempt, added shine and softness, and evened out the color throughout the length. However, it is important to understand that this is not hair dye.
Shade 7-65. I bought this mousse to cover a small amount of gray hair on my temples between salon visits for full coloring. I can say that it has a pleasant smell, easy application, and moisturizes the hair structure. However, it did not fulfill the intended purpose. It is absolutely not designed to cover gray hair, only as a toning option to add shine and a well-groomed appearance to dull hair.
The mousse is excellent, easy to use, and gives hair a shiny appearance. It doesn't drastically change the color, but it does give a beautiful shade. It completely washes out of hair in 5-6 times.
I have been using this mousse for about a year now. I use it to touch up my roots that have grown out, so I don't have to go to the salon every month. One bottle lasts me for 3 months. Once a month, I also dye my hair with regular hair dye. I use the shade 5.0 and I am very satisfied with it.
No results at all. The shade 5-0 didn't take on my uncolored brown hair at all. However, my hair did become slightly softer, like after using a conditioner. I applied it several times, leaving it on for 40 minutes each time. But unfortunately... it was a waste of money.
I bought the shade 7.0 to cover my sun-damaged ends. It does tone them, but the effect is weak and only lasts until the first wash. Maybe I made a mistake with the color choice and should have gone darker. However, the good thing is that it doesn't give a red tint, so I would rate it 4 out of 5.
It really does color and gives a slightly gray tint.. but I chose the light shade 9.5-1. However, even though I wanted to, I only kept it on my head for 20 minutes and the color immediately appeared. But the jar itself was only enough for 3 times on my length of hair and the color effect doesn't last long, maybe 1-2 washes. But it works. I can't say whether it dries out the hair or not since I dyed my hair. Maybe I would still buy another jar.
This is fantastic! I used shade 0.3 on my light brown hair and it turned into a gorgeous cool brown color. My hair is shining beautifully, and I am thrilled!
I tried shade 5.0. I have naturally blonde hair, left it on for 20 minutes, rinsed it off... and nothing changed! The color remained the same, except that my hair became smoother and moisturized. The website is as great as always! Thank you for that separately.
I have been using this tonic for a long time. It is exactly what my hair needs! It effectively removes yellowing and maintains the color between dyeing sessions. It doesn't dry out my hair and is convenient to use at home. In short, I am satisfied. I tried the shades 7-0, 7-5, and 9.5-1, and out of all of them, 7-0 worked the best for me.
I really liked the tinted mousse, I got shade 03 and it matched perfectly. I have naturally dark hair, so it gave a beautiful chocolate shade. However, I didn't notice any hair moisturizing effects. The application is very easy and it spreads evenly. It's a great alternative if you're not ready to dye your hair yet. Thank you MakeUp for the fast delivery.
I purchased the product in shades 5.0 and 3.0. The color is stunning and deep. It is a great alternative to ammonia-free hair dyes. Moreover, it lasts a long time! After coloring, my hair looks shiny and well-groomed. And as always, Makeup does a fantastic job! They process orders promptly and sometimes even include small gifts! Thank you!
I tried the shade 5-0 on my light-brown hair and I really liked it. The application was easy and it toned my hair nicely. The best part is that it completely washes out. I highly recommend it.
I purchased shade 9.5-4. My hair is a medium blond, so I wasn't surprised that the mousse didn't tone it at all. However, my mom, who has very light blond hair, also saw no changes whatsoever. In short, it was a waste of money.
This product is excellent for maintaining hair color during pregnancy. Since it is not advisable to use ammonia-based dyes, Schwarzkopf's tinting mousse is a lifesaver for both root touch-ups and full hair coloring. I highly recommend it!
