Before use: Disinfect the cup by boiling it in a pot for approximately 5-10 minutes. Ensure there is enough water in the pot.
Heart fold: Flatten the menstrual cup and fold both sides together.
Half-moon fold: Simultaneously press the rim of the menstrual cup inward and downward with your thumb. This folding method leaves more air in the cup, allowing it to open more easily after insertion. Diagonal fold: Flatten the menstrual cup and push one side down diagonally.
S-fold: Flatten the menstrual cup and fold the two ends in a zigzag pattern to form an S shape. We recommend emptying the cup 2–6 times a day, depending on your menstrual flow.
Empty the cup at least once every 12 hours. You can use the Vuokkoset cup every day of your period, including at night. For additional protection, you can use sanitary pads or panty liners.
