The shampoo is just like any other shampoo, nothing special. I have porous hair and was hoping for some kind of effect, but unfortunately, there was none. I used it with the mask and conditioner from the same series. I thought maybe I needed to use it for a longer period of time, maybe it has a cumulative effect, but no. However, as a regular care product, it's fine. One plus is that it comes in a large volume, and it cleans and lathers well.
