The sulfate-free shampoo developed by the Bulgarian brand Brave New Hair masters this task. Its formula perfectly combines care and protection against color fading.

Lather the shampoo in your hands and apply it to the roots of your wet hair. Massage it into your scalp using circular motions. Distribute the shampoo through the length of your hair and leave it on for 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Repeat the process, allowing the foam to sit on your hair for another 2 minutes to let the natural active ingredients work. Rinse again. Follow up with either a rinse-out or leave-in conditioner.
I have been using this shampoo for several months now and I am very satisfied. The vibrant red color does not fade as quickly as it did with sulfate shampoos. It's a bit unusual that it doesn't lather well, but I guess I just need to get used to it.
I also use the accompanying hair mask once a week and the conditioner twice a week.
By the way, I didn't buy it from a cosmetics store and it was a bit more expensive.
