This is my first experience using a serum, so I don't know how it's supposed to be. I chose this one specifically because I heard it helps with acne. The serum itself is liquid and forms a film on the skin. It tightens the face and creates an unpleasant sticky layer. Maybe it's just me experiencing this. As for its effectiveness, I can't say anything yet because I've only been using it recently, but it does seem to dry out some small breakouts. I will add more to the review later.
