The fragrance of the exquisite Water Lily eau de toilette by Lanvin is an unparalleled creation by leading French perfumer Pierre-Constantin Guéros. With its incredible tenderness, profound sensuality, and ephemeral lightness, it is perfectly suited for charming women to complement their feminine, romantic, and dreamy personas. The composition is succinct, effortless, moderately sweet, fairly innocent, and slightly lyrical.
The top note of the eau de toilette opens with citrusy vibrations of pink grapefruit and the juicy ripeness of red pomegranate. This combination is vibrant yet not overpowering.
At the heart of the fragrance lies the delicate and aromatic water lily. Its expressiveness and subtle sweet undertone are enhanced by the alluring passage of honeyed water jasmine.
The base of the composition is adorned with sensual powdery musk and restrained woody sandalwood.
For the money, this is a great bottle. The scent, like all Lanvin floral scents, has citrus notes. It starts off sweet and after a couple of hours, the musk becomes more prominent. It has a long-lasting trail and just a few sprays are enough for work. It's a daytime perfume that I use both in winter and summer.
A light floral fragrance, nothing remarkable... it's practically indistinguishable from Lanvin Sunny Magnolia, although slightly lighter and less sweet. The longevity is minimal... ((
