Davidoff Cool Water Oceanic Edition is a fragrance that invites you to experience a new level of freshness and relaxation. It embodies the spirit of adventure and discovery, blending a whirlwind of oceanic notes with a masculine scent of woody and fougère nuances. Additionally, the dark blue bottle in which this eau de toilette is presented symbolizes the depth of the ocean and the endless possibilities of travel, harmonizing perfectly with its concept. It is designed to accompany you in your daily exploration of new horizons and to savor every moment of this captivating journey.
Cool Water tells a story of the sea's freedom and strength, creating a world of exotic adventures and energetic waves around you. The oceanic notes that form the foundation of this fragrance create an atmosphere of coolness and lightness, reminiscent of the breeze that plays with your hair as soon as you step onto the beach.
At the heart of the composition lies smoky-bitter vetiver, which gives the fragrance depth and a masculine character. It transforms every moment of ordinary life into an unpredictable adventure, capable of redefining your perception of scents.
The final notes are highlighted by woody accords, particularly the ingredient Driftwood, which imparts warmth and balance to the fragrance. It evokes a lazy rest by the seaside, where you enjoy peace and relaxation to the sounds of gentle waves.
The mismatch between the fragrance name and its essence has become a tradition for Davidoff in recent years. It's completely unclear where the cold water or the ocean is in this scent. I would have never guessed that this is a flanker of Cool Water. Where has that famous component, Calone 1951, which creates notes of fresh aquatic and coldness, gone? How can a perfume be called "cold water" when its pyramid consists of warm notes of vetiver, jasmine, and hot pepper? This is already boiling water, not cold. The terrible similarity in the sound of Reborn, Oceanic Edition, and parfum edition makes me wonder if they are all fake products from the same source. Horror. Just horror.
