Panouge Datura Amaretti Eau de Parfum for women boasts a floral-chypre fragrance. When it was being created, a biscuity accord was intended to be the main feature. However, as the composition began to take shape, the notes autonomously crafted a powerful and unpredictable scent. The desired biscuity delight receded into the background, giving way to the leading vibrant and contradictory accords of datura and almond. The Datura Amaretti fragrance can be likened to a fatal woman of the Baroque era. She is sunny, light, playful, yet at the same time, mad, mysterious, and "poisonous". Due to such contradictions, the composition feels velvety yet scandalous, enigmatic yet bright.
The fragrance opens with sparkling notes of mandarin and cherry. This impeccable start paves the way for the bold pyramid of Datura Amaretti. At its heart, one can sense creamy, slightly gourmand accords of ylang-ylang. Alongside it are the notes of datura flowers. They are sunny, open, and warm, yet at the same time narcotic, disconcerting, and addictive. The perfumed composition boasts a lasting sillage. All thanks to a vivid base woven from notes of resinous cedarwood, unsettling almond, and sensual, sexual musk.
This perfume is incredibly long-lasting and has a strong sillage. It fills up the entire space and lingers in the air for a couple of hours after application.
I have been using this Eau de Parfum for two months now, spraying it five times each time, and I can barely smell it on myself. The scent is weak, delicate, floral, but not long-lasting and not trail-like.
A bright scent of white flowers, I suspect it to be datura, a flower known for its intoxicating properties. Later on, gourmet and sweet notes become apparent. It is very unique and unlike anything else. I really liked it.
The packaging is nice, well-sealed, and there was no air leakage. Upon first press, there was a spraying. The scent is pleasant, slightly sweet, not overwhelming. The initial notes, in my opinion, have a very noticeable lily of the valley scent, and a little later, a light musky aroma. It's not a bad option for winter. The fragrance is not long-lasting and doesn't leave a trail.
