The olfactory pyramid of Lattafa Perfumes Lail Maleki Eau de Toilette:
Top notes open the enchanting fragrance with nuances of waxy aldehydes, exotic, juicy pineapple, and spicy cinnamon. This vibrant introduction harmoniously fuses with the natural scent of the skin.
Heart notes shift the vector to a floral motif, unveiling delicate, honeyed peony accents and elegant powdery rose shades.
Base notes create a lasting trail of mineral amber and balsamic, misty-musky sandalwood.
We received it and are currently testing it. Pay attention to the review about the black bottle. At first, there is a sharp chemical pineapple note. It's like a shot, I didn't expect such an ambush considering the rich pyramid of notes. I have nothing against monochromatic fragrances, but this is not the case here.
The fragrance is so loud that it overshadows everything, including reason. Shortly after, when it finally settles down, this wild chemical nuclear note fades away and spices timidly emerge. I also detected some metallic and fruity notes out of nowhere (sounds like a rhyme). Overall, after enduring this nuclear explosion, the fragrance becomes wearable.
I don't know whether to recommend it or not. As a display in a collection, as a luxurious and expensive-looking bottle, it's perfect. As a fragrance to wear for oneself – well, it's for a very specific enthusiast. To say that the fragrance is unique is an understatement. At the same time, it definitely doesn't sound cheap. The decision is yours. If desired, you can lie and say it's some super expensive niche fragrance – people might believe it.
Well, strange manipulations. That's why there is such a mess with the reviews. For those wondering why there are reviews for Ud Lyle Maleki - let me explain. I ordered Ud Lyle Maleki, but unfortunately received the regular version. When I contacted customer support, they told me that the return process would take a long time and involve a lot of paperwork, so I decided to keep what I got. As they say, time is precious. But I am surprised by this decision - simply changing the product photo and removing the word "ud" from the name. And leaving the comments, even though the comments are for a completely different fragrance, so I'm warning potential buyers because the reviews were for the Udova version. By the way, I'm sure that most likely the non-Udova version will be lighter and more acceptable.
The reviews regarding the version I tried were for the "oud" version, which comes in a transparent bottle. Please be aware that this fragrance leans more towards the feminine side, but in my opinion, it is overly synthetic. The combination of musk and pineapples feels somewhat artificial. The longevity of the scent is satisfactory.
The fragrance is amazing! Truly unisex! I highly recommend it!
I didn't expect it to be so interesting. At first, you can feel the taste of strawberry and raspberry, then it transforms into a scent that is difficult to define, but I like it. Thank you, Makeup, for giving me the opportunity to discover this brand where you can buy wonderful fragrances at a reasonable price. It's a pity that the option to try is not available.
