The unisex scent of Al Qiam Gold Eau de Parfum boasts an oriental character with prominently wooden and leather edges. The composition begins with notes of sweet and ripe raspberry, which interestingly blend with the spicy, slightly cool saffron. At its heart, chords of warm, resinous leather and earthy, hay-like patchouli unfold. To create the trail, base notes of amber, powdery benzoin, woody vetiver, and oud were combined.
First of all, I must say that this fragrance is not for women, not even for me (and I am a fan of heavy unisex scents). It has a masculine woody scent, and out of the three men in my life who tested it, none of them liked it.
I recently received a stunning bottle! The design is amazing, the bottle is heavy and beautiful, and the box is superb! I really liked the fragrance itself, with the initial notes of raspberry followed by patchouli and leather, and then a strong presence of vetiver and amber.
