Franck Olivier Pure Addiction - Eau de Parfum
I own Baccarat 540 and its clones Mancera Instant Crush and Thomas Kosmala N 4. Pure Addiction is an absolute clone with a cedar note instead of the iodine note in Baccarat. I have also tried budget clones of 540 like Afnan Violet Bouquet and Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge, but they are more synthetic and less long-lasting. Pure Addiction is one of the best, if not the best clone of Baccarat 540 in any price range.
I'm not buying it for the first time. There is a difference between the order. The packaging is also different. And the scents are also different.
I ordered out of curiosity. I cautiously tested it for the first time. The scent seemed very unusual to me, but the longevity was astonishing. On the second day, different, more enticing and slightly sweet notes opened up, but I could also detect a hint of iodine. By the third day, I realized that I was hooked 🙃 I perceive it as a distant orange and a close strawberry in caramelized form, heavily dusted with powder. By the way, the powder lingers throughout the entire day. I'm not sure if these emotions will last forever, but right now I really like it.
I ordered it from the EU, and this concentrated water stays on clothes for weeks. It also stays well on the body. I am satisfied with my purchase.
I ordered it purely out of curiosity. I saw it in the store's recommendations, where I buy niche fragrances for spraying. So, we conducted an experiment and sent 1 ml of this fragrance and Bacara to find the difference. Most girls actually mistook Frank Oliver for the original))))
I am familiar with the original Bacara from afar, but there is a similarity, but that's not the point. The fragrance itself is nice, and I am surprised by its longevity. It's already evening, and I can still feel it well, even on my skin (which is strange for me because even niche fragrances usually fade away in a couple of hours).
My husband also liked it, and even more so, he said "Wow!!!" For some reason, he doesn't like sweet perfumes on me, like Dance of Dragonflies, but here he says this is the best one on you so far. Nishan Ani, Vertus Narcosis, and Perfect Bouquet from Xerjof are in shock.
I am pleasantly impressed with the price. It's just right for everyday use.
I really liked them! Personally, they are very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, and I don't feel any iodine in either Baccarat or these perfumes, just burnt sugar. I can hardly smell the scent on myself, which is very convenient because overpowering fragrances often become annoying, but with this perfume, I constantly receive compliments for the trail it leaves.
I only have Mugler perfumes and a couple of other scents that last longer than two hours, but this one is so long-lasting that it becomes overwhelming. I'm familiar with the sillage of bakkar, but it's not my style at all. Pure Addiction is really similar, so I wouldn't recommend it without testing it first. I definitely liked the presentation and price.
I really don't understand those who hear baccarat rouge 540 here. It is absolutely synthetic, flat, and cheap fragrance. I bought it without testing it, relying on reviews. Money wasted, or more precisely thrown into the trash bin.
This perfume is incredibly long-lasting.
Overall, I don't feel them on myself, but several times people have asked what it is on me. I conclude that they are subtle, although unfortunately, I don't hear it myself.
I smell like iodine))) Maybe later the scent will reveal itself differently. Currently, I don't like it. I do not recommend buying without testing it first.
The product is similar to Bacardi, but very subtle in taste. It doesn't have a lingering aftertaste. The durability is around 4 hours.
I ordered these perfumes here, but the delivery was from the EU. They were recommended to me as very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 (almost like an equivalent), but not as expensive. In my opinion, the similarity is indeed maximum, but Pure Addiction is not as intense and is lighter. After a certain period of time after application, there is a stronger musk scent and it lacks the sweet note that Baccarat has. However, overall, it is also worth considering for its price.
I am satisfied! These perfumes are great, with an interesting scent. There is a similarity with Bacarra, but Oliver is sweeter and has less iodine and bandages that I didn't like in Bacarra. These perfumes have complemented my collection.
So, this is Baccara... but only for the first 30 seconds. After that, it is not noticeable at all, only on clothing if you hold it directly to your nose. The longevity is not just zero, it is non-existent altogether. So, the cost savings are highly questionable. You could take 10 ml of the real Baccara and smell it all day with just one spray. You could pour this perfume all over your body, 100 ml of it, and still barely feel the scent.
These perfumes are really great. I can't describe the scent accurately, but it somehow reminds me of molecule 02. There's also a pleasant hint of iodine. Considering the price and volume, I believe it's a worthy product. Additionally, I want to mention the longevity, which is excellent. I wore it all day and could still smell it in the morning.
Great perfume. The longevity is perfect, with a lingering, delicious and spicy scent. The fragrance is like an orange-sugar candy, playing with different facets, from sweet and spicy to subtly iodine-like. It unfolds, evolves, and smells amazing. As for the comment below about it not being Bacarra... well, of course, it's Frank Oliver, but it's just as good as Bacarra.
Yes, it's just like Bacara. It lasts a long time! And the sillage is amazing!...
Baccara Rouge is a fragrance for a healthy person. Seriously, this perfume is absolutely original, not a copy. It stands on its own as a worthy scent with excellent technical characteristics. It sounds better on the skin, but in short. On fabric, it lasts longer and is pleasant. There are no unpleasant surprises in the base. My Oscar 2023 is leaving for the budget-friendly Franck Olivier Pure Addiction.
It's great! There is no hint of iodine, as if it were a copper scent, the last notes. It doesn't trail or fill the space like copper. It stays close to the body. However, you can spray it on and enjoy it. The bottle is wonderful! I don't regret the purchase!
At first, it has a burnt sugar smell, then a burnt plastic scent, which is rough and unpleasant. There is a slight resemblance to baklava at the beginning, but it disappears quickly, and it doesn't taste good. I really don't like it at all.
Volume 0. Although, for example, SunRise is superb, a blend between Encre and Derme. Beautiful vetiver, long-lasting. But this one is nothing special. Thank you for the makeup.
The fragrance is cool, although I feel it is more suited for women than unisex, in my opinion. The bottle looks very stylish. I highly recommend it!
I bought the first bottle elsewhere, so I was familiar with the scent. I ordered the second bottle here, and... the fragrance is completely different, similar but different. And most importantly, it's not long-lasting at all, neither I nor others can smell it. It's very disappointing.
I bought it blindly after reading that it is a clone of Bacara, but without the note of iodine. Upon receiving the fragrance, I immediately sprayed it on a napkin and was amazed by the similarity. However, I cannot stand Bacara))) and now I understand why. The issue is not the note of iodine, but the loudness. In Pure Addiction, I also feel the same notes, including iodine, but very softly and delicately, it doesn't overpower or annoy. I took a risk and applied it on myself. I have been wearing it for two hours now and I can still smell the fragrance around me, like a pleasant cloud. I liked it.
I really enjoyed the taste of Bacardi Rouge. It is pleasantly sweet and even refreshing. I quickly stop noticing it, except for occasionally when I can hear the wind outside.
Great alternative, I will definitely indulge in it without regretting!)
I really liked the scent, yes, it's very similar to Baccarat 540, but without the medicinal note. I don't see it being suitable for men though. It's just too delicious.
Enchanting and incredibly alluring! This fragrance is long-lasting and exudes sexiness, it's simply wow! It particularly shines on men. The regal citrus opening with sparks of oranges transitions into a beautiful blend of floral notes, wood, saffron, and cedar, creating an enchanting effect. This modern and unique scent is luxurious and rich, yet affordable.
Yes! This fragrance is so similar to Extrait Baccarat Rouge 540, it's a 9 out of 10, but at a much lower price. It's a luxurious alternative to niche perfumes, with decent longevity and sillage. The scent itself is magnificent! It also smells amazing on men. I am pleasantly surprised and delighted with this purchase, especially considering the price. My friend bought it from another website for 2150. Thank you, My Cap, for the price. You are the best!
