Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try several to find the one that works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup should open with a characteristic suction sound or "pop," indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval. If you feel dents, the cup hasn't fully opened. Carefully grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure it has formed a suction seal. Then, gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, the cup is successfully installed.
