I don't know how it protects, but it fits terribly.
I agree with the negative reviews - this sunscreen has a terrible white cast, dries out the skin, and doesn't spread evenly. After the first use on my face, I decided to keep it for applying on other parts of my body (in Asia, any sunscreen will come in handy). Recently, I applied it on my legs and the horrible feeling of dryness didn't go away for two days. I also applied it on my husband's neck, and he complained too. Both of us have naturally oily skin.
It's interesting that the product description completely contradicts the actual experience.
It's a shame to throw it away, but using it is unpleasant.
I am in love with this SPF! It feels incredibly comfortable on my face and helps control my combination skin. The fragrance is delightful.
In my opinion, this is the best SPF. The condition of my facial skin improved, it's not sticky, the skin feels simply velvety. I really liked it.
I recently purchased this SPF product, and I want to say that my skin tends to be dry. I applied just two fingers worth at first and was initially worried that it looked like mime makeup. However, after rubbing it in for just two minutes, I was amazed. My skin was glowing and there was no white cast. Keep in mind that this was applied 30 minutes before going out. If you blend it well with your hands, the result will be great!
The rating for this product is a 2 out of 5. It excessively whitens and strongly emphasizes dryness of the skin and wrinkles, from all the SPF products by the brand Misha. It is the worst for my oily and tanned skin type.
I want to defend this SPF. First, titanium dioxide is the second ingredient on the list, so when buying it, you should understand that the cream will lighten the skin! Well, we can't escape from that. But that's the only downside! I have normal skin prone to oiliness, and my skin is light. The cream applies beautifully as the final step in my skincare routine. It doesn't clump, leave streaks, or make my face look oily. There's no heaviness on the skin! And that satin finish, it's love ❤️ It makes my light skin look even lighter, like porcelain! A little bit of powder and my face stays matte all day!
I agree with the ratings below, this is the worst sunscreen I have tried (including mineral ones). It's like applying some white paste on your face, after which your face looks like it has never been moisturized, all imperfections are emphasized, and the entire face is covered in a white film, it clogs the pores, it's terrible. I tried it with a moisturizer before, but the result was the same. It's impossible to apply a sufficient amount of protection because it ends up looking like you smeared chalk all over yourself. I even tried it on my hands, but it still doesn't spread evenly and gets stuck in the smallest imperfections.
The only thing I liked is the feeling of touch, it really has a satin finish. But it looks awful. I haven't figured out how to use it without wasting it yet.
Regarding physical filters... well, the SPF seems too white on the skin even after 15 minutes of application and vigorous rubbing, leaving a white face like a geisha... even with cream. Then the smell of it after application is not very pleasant - it smells like cashmere, not just a scent, but a stench! In general, I wanted to order the blue Misha Aqua 50+++ - I am very satisfied with it, but it was out of stock, only this brown one was available. And now I'm struggling, I want to use it up before summer so I don't have to stink it up in the summer.
I liked the cream. It leaves a slightly white tint because it contains a physical filter. I apply it after moisturizer and before CC cream. It doesn't clump, I like the finish, and it's not greasy. I bought it because I started using acids and retinol. So far, my impressions are only positive.
Unfortunately, this is the worst SPF I've ever had. It has a very strong white color that doesn't even fade after 20 minutes.
Before applying this SPF, it is necessary to use a moisturizing cream because it emphasizes any dryness very strongly. Even after applying BB cream on top of it. Even though I don't have dry skin at all, it just emphasizes what isn't there.
It settles into small wrinkles, even though I apply it with only two fingers, because it is too white and thick.
Does it give a matte or velvety skin effect? I didn't notice anything like that. Yes, it doesn't shine like after other SPFs, but having a white face and emphasized wrinkles and dryness is not worth it.
I am disappointed because I haven't encountered such low-quality products from the Missha brand before.
