The "Juniper" essential oil by the Ukrainian brand "Kvita" boasts a broad spectrum of action. It is recommended for skincare of all types to address allergic dermatitis, vascular spots, and acne, as well as to combat dandruff. It is effective for wounds and ulcers, bruises, and strains.
Juniper essential oil helps eliminate toxins and slags from the body, normalizes blood pressure and the biochemical composition of the blood, and increases the elasticity of blood vessels. It alleviates hangover symptoms, aids in dizziness and nausea, and eliminates weakness. It assists women in normalizing the menstrual cycle and eases conditions during urethritis and vaginitis. It has anti-inflammatory effects in both chronic and acute conditions in the uterus and its appendages.
How to use: Juniper essential oil can be used both in its pure form and in combination with other essential oils (cypress, citrus, eucalyptus, cajeput, elemi, sage, lavender)
Skin and hair care. Enriching cosmetic products: 5 drops of oil (or oil mix) per 10 ml of base (1-2 tablespoons).
Mask for burst capillaries: Mix 50 ml of yogurt with 5 drops of neroli, 5 drops of juniper, and 2 drops of rosemary. Apply the mask and after 10-15 minutes, rinse off with room temperature water.
For strengthening hair and combating dandruff: 5 drops of tea tree and 5 drops of juniper with 10 ml of jojoba oil. Apply this mixture on towel-dried hair after washing. After 5-10 minutes, thoroughly rinse your hair with clean water.
Massage. Mix 5-7 drops of oil (or oil mix) with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Massage oil for cellulite: 100 ml of jojoba oil, 10 drops of juniper, 10 drops of rosemary, 10 drops of geranium, 10 drops of orange, 5 drops of cypress.
Treatment of hemorrhoidal nodes, slow-healing wounds: Apply 5 drops to 10 ml of vegetable oil with a cotton swab.
Inhalations and room aromatization.
Aroma burners: Add 5 drops of oil per 15 sq. meters of room space into an aroma lamp filled with water, and light a candle.
Aroma medallions: 1 - 3 drops.
Hot inhalations: Pour boiling water into a wide-mouthed container, cover your head with a towel, then add 1-3 drops of oil, the duration of the procedure is 4-7 minutes. Keep your eyes closed!
Baths: Mix 3-7 drops of oil (or oil mix) with 30-60 g of emulsifier (salt, soda, honey, bubble bath, cream, bran, etc.) and add to a filled bathtub;
Toxin-removal bath: 3 drops of juniper, 3 drops of geranium, 3 drops of lemon, 1 drop of sandalwood.
Cellulite bath: 5 drops of lemon, 3 drops of juniper, 2 drops of cypress.
Saunas: 2-3 drops of oil per 15 sq. meters of space, add to a vessel with 50-100 ml of water or 5 drops of essential oil dissolved in 10 ml of ethyl alcohol. Spray the mixture.
Warm compresses: Add 5-7 drops to water or oil (300-400 g). Apply a gauze or cloth bandage soaked in the mixture for 10-40 minutes. Insulate with cellophane.
Topical applications, ointments: 5 drops to 20 ml of base for the affected skin area.
Douching: Apply 3 drops to 1/2 teaspoon of soda and dissolve in 200 g of warm boiled water.Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy, acute kidney inflammations. Use with caution in cases of high-grade hypertension. It is not recommended to use continuously for more than 2-3 weeks. Individual intolerance.
It smells like a eucalyptus toilet freshener. No juniper, no forest coziness.
This oil is very pleasant, with a forest-like aroma. However, it doesn't quite resemble what we typically associate with the scent of juniper.
