I bought a purple spray, but it is hardly visible on the hair. We applied it to dry hair, and almost half of the bottle was used in one go. Then we blow-dried it. We expected a vibrant color, but in reality, it is barely noticeable. Indoors, it feels like the hair is just slightly darker at the roots. It is slightly visible in the sunlight. In short, I didn't like the spray at all. It was a waste of money. The only positive thing is that it doesn't stain or discolor clothes after it dries.
Does not work with chestnut hair.
