Mancera Aqua Wood Eau de Parfum was developed in 2020 by the eternal perfumer and creator of the brand, Pierre Montale. The sophisticated composition captures the luxury and sophistication of oriental notes intertwining with floral accords, embodying a mysterious image of strength and weakness, two opposites of one nature.
The olfactory pyramid of Mancera Aqua Wood Eau de Parfum:
Top notes sparkle with refreshing citrusy motifs and juicy pear shades.
Heart notes reveal slightly bitter ginger, smoking patchouli leaf, and royal Turkish rose undertones.
Base notes are woven from warm amber, seductive white musk, balsamic benzoin, and soothing incense overflows.
Perfumes should be aged, as I had a sample for a year and just tried it now, and the scent is lovely. In my opinion, it's more suitable for spring, but I believe it will also sound great in other seasons. It exudes freshness and makes you want to capture and inhale it. I can't say it's loud or heavy; it's a pleasant scent that somehow reminds me of a seaside vacation. It's a fragrance that doesn't create a sense of hurry; maybe it smells like morning dew. Monsera and similar perfumes are very specific scents that need to be aged. If you don't want to be disappointed with the fragrance, I think it's better to buy a sample and wear it a little bit.
After some time, I would like to amend my rating for this fragrance to a four. Perhaps it has settled or my perception has changed, but it lasts throughout the workday. In terms of scent, it is slightly bitter, but overall pleasant. However, precisely because there is nothing shocking here, it is also universal. I believe it has a greater chance of appealing to those who often use luxury products rather than niche ones.
In terms of scent, it's pretty standard, not much better than some Oriflame cologne that costs 300 UAH. It doesn't last very long. If we compare it to other men's fragrances like Cedrat Boise and Wind Wood, they would be more intriguing.
