The MeLuna XL size menstrual cup in purple with a loop, from the MeLuna brand, is made from high-quality thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is completely hypoallergenic. Unlike sanitary pads or tampons, the cup leaves no fibers behind, prevents mucosal dryness, and does not absorb blood and bacteria. The cup is virtually imperceptible inside. It securely positions itself and creates a slight vacuum. This allows the product to be used even during sleep or while engaging in sports activities. The cup's firm rims prevent the liquid from spilling inside.
Features of the MeLuna Sport Menstrual Cup:
- The Sport model is the most resilient, making it suitable for women with strong pelvic floor muscles who are actively involved in sports;
- Diameter – 47 mm;
- Height – 56 mm;
- Capacity - 42 ml;
- Prevents mucosal dryness and the occurrence of discomfort;
- Equipped with a loop for easy removal of the cup;
- Hypoallergenic, as it is made without bleaching agents, deodorants, absorbents, polyvinyl chloride, silicone, latex, proteins, etc.-
Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods - you can try them and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to open up inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will unfold with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating that it has been properly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you notice dents or folds in the cup, it means it hasn't fully opened. Gently hold the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it is in place, try pulling the stem slightly; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
