Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are various folding methods - you can try different ones to see which works best for you. Insert the folded cup and allow it to open up inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will unfold with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it has been properly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when inserted correctly. If you notice dents or folds on the cup, it hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal.
