Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Always wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods - feel free to try them and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup should open with a characteristic suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup - it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If there are any dents or indentations, the cup has not fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
