Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup; there are various folding methods, so you can try different ones and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. Once inserted, the cup will open with a distinctive suction or popping sound, indicating it is correctly positioned. If you are unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly inserted. If you notice any dents or folds, the cup hasn't fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once in place, gently tug the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is established, and the cup is successfully inserted!
