Before using the cup for the first time, sterilize it in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—you can try various ones and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a distinct suction or popping sound, indicating that it is correctly positioned. If you're unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly inserted. If you detect any dents or folds, it means the cup hasn’t fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to create a suction seal. Once it’s in place, gently pull on the stem; if you feel resistance, the suction is set, and the cup is successfully positioned!
