The nose behind Pupa Vamp Red is Luca Maffei, an Italian independent perfumer with more than 50 perfumes created for mainstream and niche brands worldwide. The fragrance was released in 2021, and has been a firm favourite in Pupa brand collection since then.
The olfactory pyramid of Pupa Vamp Red:
Top notes open with the sparkling bergamot backed up by pink pepper and mirabella.
Heart notes reveal rich and sweet jasmine, intense tuberose, iris, rose and ripe peach petals complemented by patchouli. Tonka beans and cocoa round off the sensual floral heart.
Base notes mix in luscious vanilla and sandalwood, amber and musk, leaving a trail that will make anyone long for more.
Unfortunately, the fragrance didn't impress me(( Unlike its pink counterpart, it is more indistinct and subdued. However, the bottle itself brings much aesthetic joy. Hopefully, it will settle and resonate with the promised notes.

Only this one is sweeter in the base. The lasting power on the skin is about 4 hours. It sits close to the skin. The sillage is small. It's a fragrance for cold weather. It has a slight chemical smell, especially in the beginning. Perhaps it will be more beautiful and long-lasting in winter. Overall, it's not bad. But not wow.
