The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% - مصل تفتيح يعتمد على مشتق فيتامين C المستقر
I haven't noticed a strong "wow" effect yet (been using it for a month), but I did notice that my skin heals faster after cleansing.
Do not expect immediate results after a week of use. I ordered this serum in December. Now, after daily use, I can confidently say that it does deliver results. My skin looks healthier, has a natural glow, and a more even tone. I no longer need to use BB or CC creams, and I haven't had any breakouts, except maybe 1 or 2 occasional pimples. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it.
Unfortunately, I don't notice any effect, except for a couple of small pimples after each use.
I really liked this serum: it truly brightens the skin, gives a healthy glow, and slightly reduces dryness during the winter. I occasionally have breakouts, so this product effectively reduces inflammation. I use it twice a day along with a squalane cream. If you rub the skin well, it might peel a bit, but since I don't wear much makeup, it's not a problem for me.
I have just started using this product and it doesn't feel moisturizing at all. In fact, it feels like I have applied egg white on my face. However, after about 15 minutes, this effect disappears! My skin appears to be more firm. But without additional moisturization, it is not enough. After about 20 minutes, I apply a moisturizing cream.
I ordered this serum a while ago, when The Ordinary wasn't as readily available in Ukraine. It was my first Vitamin C serum, and it was absolutely comfortable and non-irritating. It lasted for about 3 months with daily use, and I noticed the following effects: brightening of pigmentation after breakouts, radiance, evening of skin tone, and strengthening (as if densifying) of the skin.
This product is a solid 5 out of 5. After using it, I have now switched to more potent forms of Vitamin C.
The serum is suitable for me, it brightens and evens out my skin tone. When applied, it doesn't cause any patchiness, so I can easily cover it with my moisturizer. I only use it at night.
This serum is quite good as it helps even out the skin tone.
It is best to apply the serum in the evening and after around 30 minutes, follow it up with a moisturizer. The consistency of this serum is quite unique, so it might not work well in the morning before makeup application. Alternatively, it can be used before waking up. My cosmetologist recommended using a serum with niacinamide in the morning (especially for oily and problematic skin), followed by a moisturizer on top, but it can also be applied together.
It suited me well: it improves skin elasticity, I wouldn't say it whitens, but it definitely makes the complexion appear fresher. I apply moisturizer afterwards as I don't like the feeling of a film on my face. It doesn't clump, but I don't use foundation, I go straight to mineral powder after moisturizer. I didn't buy it here.
This is a good serum that slightly moisturizes the face, but it is necessary to seal it with a cream. It also has a light skin brightening effect. I use it once a day because, as mentioned below, it tends to roll off, but that doesn't bother me.
The serum is decent, but it rolls off horribly no matter how much or how you apply it. It does provide moisturizing and brightening effects, and the manufacturer recommends applying it in the morning and evening. However, it is simply impossible to do so in the morning under makeup, as it rolls off.
