Leave-In Strengthening Hair Spray John Frieda Detox & Repair Care & Protect Spray

It didn't work for me. Maybe for blonde hair, something different and more powerful is needed. I didn't notice any moisturizing or strengthening effects, and my split ends didn't disappear either. Whether I use it with or without the spray, the difference is minimal. I have been using it for over 6 months because it has thermal protection, and I constantly use a hairdryer. Even cheaper Ukrainian brands, like HAIRWAVE and Moli Cosmetics, have left a stronger impression on me with their scent and effect. Currently, I am in search of another spray with a good effect.

I really liked this spray, I can definitely recommend it, it's the best one I've had so far. Just a small mistake on the website, they mention that it's made in the UK, but the bottle says it's made in Germany.

Great! My hairdresser thought I didn't use straighteners when she felt my hair, even though I use them after every wash, so I think that says a lot about this heat protectant. My hair is soft and more manageable, I highly recommend it to everyone.

I bought it as a heat protectant. After using it, my hair feels incredibly soft and styles beautifully.

I have long natural hair, and the ends have started to split. I like the shampoo and conditioner from another brand. However, I wanted to moisturize the ends and give them shine after sun exposure.

After the first use, my impressions are as follows:
- It does not give shine at all! On the contrary, where the spray is applied, the hair looks dull and matte, even though my own hair shines in the sun and artificial lighting.
- It has made my hair feel stiff.
- I can feel the presence of some product, it lacks the silkiness of natural hair.
- The next day, the areas where the spray was applied are more difficult to comb, and the comb gets stuck.

I cannot say anything about heat protection because I have no experience with truly effective products, and this one seems average like all the others.
It is too early to talk about breakage protection. Since I have already bought it, I will continue to use it and update my review in a couple of months.

The spray is simply amazing! It smoothes, moisturizes, and softens the hair very well. With it, they really split and break less. The consumption is not high. The sprayer disperses in a mode between "stream" and "spray". So, personally, I won't complain about it. It completely satisfies me. The scent is also pleasant. It lasts on the hair for a sufficient amount of time.

I found a heat protectant because of the mask from this series. It has a nice scent. I'm not sure how to distinguish the presence of a thermal effect from its absence, but I really like how my hair behaves after using it. When used together with the mask, my hair doesn't get frizzy, it feels soft, and after blow-drying, everything looks great, no flyaways. I recommend it.

To the comments below - ladies, what "special" did you expect from heat protection?
I have tried many options over the past couple of years and settled on this one (I have already ordered it for the 3rd or 4th time).
It doesn't make my hair greasy, doesn't weigh it down, and acts as an antistatic.
As for heat protection - I apply the spray to damp hair, then blow-dry and straighten it with a flat iron. The number of split ends has reduced by 80% over the year (of course, not without the help of masks/conditioners and other hair care products).
I apply the spray generously without hesitation, considering its affordable price (it lasts for 2-3 months for hair below the shoulder blades).
But for example, the mask from this series didn't work for me at all.
I wish everyone to find their perfect product and evaluate it reasonably based on the criteria of price and characteristics.

The texture is very pleasant, and there is no feeling of stickiness on the hair, which is often present in products with heat protection. I use it during hair drying with a blow dryer or when I do any styling with a curling iron, and my hair feels soft and shiny.

One of the positives is that it feels lightweight on the hair and doesn't weigh down at the roots. The hair doesn't get static and smells good throughout the day. My hair is healthy, so it's difficult to assess how much it "nourishes" them.

On the downside, the heat protection is either not noticeable or non-existent. I use a brush hairdryer, and a few times my hair got so hot that I almost burned my hand.

I bought it for my daughter and she was very satisfied with it.

I think this product will work for natural hair, but I have problematic, dyed blonde, and lightened hair with difficult tangles. Unfortunately, this product did not make it any easier to comb through my hair. The consistency is like water, and the description says to apply it generously to the hair, so the bottle won't last long at this rate. I could find something cheaper. We will keep looking.

It's too early to talk about the results, but the effect is already visible: my hair has become soft (previously they were dry and after blow-drying they looked like straw). The effect of moisturized hair is present when using the spray with both regular shampoo and the shampoo from the same brand. If you use the John Frieda Detox & Repair Shampoo, the result is even better - soft and smooth hair that is easy to comb. Overall, I am satisfied. I recommend both the spray and the shampoo.

Great smell, good sprayer. I liked that there is no alcohol in the composition, in my previous expensive spray alcohol was in the first place, but then I didn't look at the composition, I trusted the brand.
It's too early to talk about the effectiveness as I have been using it for a month.
I deducted one star because the price was discounted at 246, but it turned out that it wasn't the final discount, which is disappointing.

The spray is ordinary, pleasant, non-sticky, and makes combing easier. I hope it works as a heat protectant.
