This product has a great natural composition. It feels nice after washing my face. However, for its price, it doesn't remove matte lipsticks, waterproof mascaras well. It is thick and doesn't emulsify well. I like this brand but I will not purchase this oil again.
I have been using hydrophilic oils for a long time and I have something to compare it with - this oil is wonderful and fully meets the claimed and set task. The texture is pleasant and easily spreads on the face. Personally, I didn't really like the smell, but you can only notice it when you apply the oil to your face. A separate plus is the dispenser. Usually, hydrophilic oils have a dispenser that does not allow convenient transportation of the product, and you have to transfer it to another container to take it with you on trips. In this case, it is slightly different and has a protective cap, which makes transportation convenient and safe for your cosmetics bag (especially for frequent travelers or those who go on business trips). I definitely recommend it and will definitely buy it again.
I decided to try this oil after using hydrophilic Korean ones, and my conclusion is that the composition is natural, without any mineral oils or petroleum products, which is important if you don't want clogged pores and suffocated skin even after washing off. Another fact is that cleansing the face with castor oil and combining it with almond oil, which are basic oils suitable for all skin types, works; the question is just how to use them. Apply this oil only on dry face, massage it for a few minutes to warm it up and penetrate the pores, then using wet clean hands, create a milky emulsion with circular motions, then rinse again with warm water. After this, it is necessary to use a gel or foam cleanser, as this is a mandatory step, without which some of the oil will remain in the pores and cause clogging. Do not use any micellar water after cleansing with oil, as it is not suitable for additional cleansing; you need to remove the oil residue with a foaming product. If you strictly follow these steps, there will be no problems. Because then no hydrophilic oil will work as it should. I liked Caudalie for its natural scent, composition, and the fact that it does not dry out the skin or disrupt your microbiome.
Great oil, I bought it based on a blogger's recommendation even though I had doubts because of previous reviews. It's convenient that it has a dispenser, two pumps are enough for the entire face, and the scent is neutral. It didn't cause any breakouts (I have combination skin). I don't like removing eye makeup with oil, so I use micellar water. It removes SPF cream well, as some mentioned it might not be effective, but I haven't had any issues with any oil being ineffective. Afterwards, I use a cleansing gel. It doesn't cause any tightness.
Great oil, effectively cleanses pores and removes makeup (I don't wear heavy makeup, only BB cream, blush, and mascara).
The sensation on the skin is pleasant after application, I would rate it as 4 out of 5 in terms of how easily it washes off. However, I suspect that it was precisely after using the oil that I developed rashes in quite unusual areas on my face.
I really like this oil, it effectively removes makeup. Of course, it should be washed off with a cleanser or gel.
I really love this cosmetics brand and decided to order it despite the reviews. The oil is not bad, it leaves the skin smooth and moisturized, without the feeling of tightness that some makeup removers can cause. However, if you want to remove makeup "to the creak"- definitely not. After using it, I still go over with micellar water and then with a toner from the same line.
I regularly use makeup removers, but this one completely fails to do the job. I have regular non-waterproof mascara, and this oil doesn't dissolve it completely. It is quite thick on its own and caused a breakout for me.
I love Kodal, but perhaps the only thing I didn't like about them is their oil.
I really liked this oil. It effectively removes makeup and mascara (I use a facial cleanser after using the oil), leaving no traces behind. I chose it because of its natural composition and I am pleased with my choice. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any negative reactions (I have been using it for 3 weeks).
