Stinker 🦨
I received this perfume as a gift and I wanted to leave a review here because I usually treat myself to makeup perfumes.
This perfume is worth its price, as I was amazed by its longevity. I may have overdone it with the sprays (4-6), as my outerwear smelled persistently for several days. After that, the scent started to fade (even though I only lightly brushed against the collar of my jacket). Other perfumes don't last on my skin, but these ones - from morning till... I couldn't wash them off myself. This is exactly the kind of perfume that leaves a trail. As for the scent itself - it's a clear blend of ylang-ylang, nuts, cedar, a scent of aristocracy, and you can't wear sneakers with it here.
A fragrance for enthusiasts! I would classify it as vintage. I'm glad I got a sample. It's a very intense scent, very unconventional and incredibly long-lasting. I initially liked it, but after about an hour, it started to make me nauseous. I tried to wash it off, but it didn't help. I washed my wrist twice with soap, but even after 12 hours, I could still smell it. Now it's been on my skin for a day and I can still smell it, even after showering and doing household chores. It's probably stuck on my skin, and I don't think I can get it out of my clothes. I recommend testing it before buying. But if you like the scent, it lasts amazingly long! It's a good perfume, just not for me. It's a pity they didn't suit me.
At first, the scent repelled with a powerful note of fruity chewing gum, causing surprise and disappointment bordering on despair: so this is what all that money was spent on! And it lasted quite a long time, about half an hour. And then... then the indescribable beauty simply began.
When the brain adapted to the sound of the components, it began to distinguish nuances, details, shades in the composition, and stopped perceiving it crudely and unfavorably, like when you approach a painting done in oil up close and marvel: oh my, what untidy, even ugly strokes - but step back: a masterpiece of genius, a cohesive, harmonious picture.
Now, to the essence. The chewing gum turned out to be ylang-ylang, which indeed was a bit too much in the beginning. But as the scent settles, ylang-ylang takes a backseat, and instead, a very complete accord of fruits, roses, amber, and light patchouli emerges, adorned with nutmeg. This continues for an hour, an hour and a half. And then, the most unusual thing happens: something occurs with the fragrance, causing it to distinctly smell like brand new velvet upholstery on orchestra seats, a freshly cleaned stage floor, slightly dusty yet also velvet curtains. And this is pure delight. The highlight is the lightest hint of cold, slightly metallic almond, which is not reflected in the pyramid but is undoubtedly present. And this beauty resonates for a long time, around 6 or 7 hours, wafting very delicately, intelligently, constantly reminding (but without any exclamations) of its presence. The base is also good (vanilla, cedar, amber, and musk - all of these are very light, almost creamy), but still falls short of the beauty of the heart. Definitely unisex, without any masculinity or overt sweetness. Recommended for a thorough, thoughtful acquaintance.
