It effectively strengthens the nails, and the results are visible after a couple of weeks. However, unlike the clear base strengthener, all the tinted ones take an incredibly long time to dry. As a result, there are almost always fingerprints and marks on the nail, rather than a smooth glossy surface. If that is not critical for you, I recommend it for strengthening purposes.
