I really liked this product. It activates curls without making the hair sticky and it has a pleasant scent. I suppose it all depends on the type of curls and hair.
The jar arrived looking different from the picture, which makes me doubt its authenticity.
I agree with the reviews, the hair feels like it has been sprayed with hairspray, especially for curly hair, it's a total disaster. It doesn't soften the hair at all.
Curlies, this is our go-to product! CHI cosmetics may take some getting used to, but it's definitely worth it. I apply it first on damp hair, a couple of spritzes on my palm and distribute it evenly through my hair. And the same after blow-drying. I have white dyed hair. After using this spray, my curls look beautifully wavy and shiny. The next day, my hair still looks fresh, which was a pleasant surprise!
This is terrible, the hair looks like it has been sprayed with hairspray, it's dry and brittle. How can they sell something like this? It should go straight in the trash! What a waste of money. I've tried it on both wet and dry hair, but it still makes my hair look absolutely dreadful. Do not purchase this product.
I agree with Julia's review from 31.07. I tried to give it many chances, on dry hair, on damp hair, and the next day, but it just didn't work, no matter how hard I tried. I have curly dry hair, but after using this product, it turned into straw. It's like hairspray, but only if you don't overdo it. Don't expect it to moisturize or add shine, it doesn't have those qualities. And speaking of the scent, it's very strong and alcoholic, but it quickly dissipates (it reminds me of some intense household chemical like Domestos or something that literally burns your eyes).
Moreover, it does not moisturize or soften at all, leaving a rough and sticky feeling.
