Essence Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence

Great product! The skin feels soft, smooth, and not sticky. It gradually lightens. I have been using it for several years. I highly recommend it.

I decided to try this as a budget replacement for Manyo Galac 2.0, as I have oily and problematic skin. My first impressions: it absorbs instantly, tightens pores, and gives a radiant glow. However, after a few applications, I had a breakout. I decided to continue using it, and after 2 weeks, the breakouts subsided. I have been using it for a month now and I am very satisfied. It provides deep hydration, quickly clears post-acne marks, and most importantly, it works on closed comedones! I have always had them, even while using Retinol, AHA, BHA, and enzymes simultaneously, but this simple moisturizing essence has brought significant changes.

I have been using it for a week, but I don't see any results. However, at least it hasn't done anything bad to my skin. Maybe I need to use it a little more to see any effects.

The essence is sticky when applied. It doesn't bother me because I apply it in the morning, right after washing my face, as a toner+serum, followed by a two-phase light oil with massage. I don't use it as part of my main morning skincare routine after my workout.

However, in some areas, it causes redness, and I can't tolerate that. I prefer a gentle, non-aggressive skincare routine. Today, I applied a clay mask from a French brand (known for their gentle formulas) on top, and it stung a bit. After washing it off, my face was very red. They didn't get along well.

I can't comment on the lighting aspect (as I'm not prone to pigmentation), but this essence makes my skin perfectly smooth. After applying it, the effect of flawless skin lasts for several hours.

Given: oily and problematic skin, I used this product for over a month.

This essence did not lighten anything on my skin: freckles, redness, and post-acne marks are still present on my skin.

The essence moisturizes the skin, but I cannot confirm its wrinkle-smoothing effect. The elasticity and firmness of the skin did not change.

I would like to leave a review about using this essence on mature skin. After using it, my skin looks nourished, firm, and glowing in a good way. I will definitely repurchase it. I follow up with additional skincare steps after using the essence because one application is not enough for me. It lasts for a very long time.

I used this product for about three months every day without any noticeable results. Then I decided to switch to essences/serums from other brands, and my skin started improving visibly. It became clear that this product doesn't do anything for the skin at all. Although it didn't cause any allergies/rashes, which I appreciate after my reaction to their Snail 92 cream. It's a pity, but I guess this brand is just not for me. The only thing that has worked perfectly from this manufacturer so far is their salicylic foam cleanser.

I have sensitive skin prone to breakouts and oiliness. I use this essence as a basic skincare treatment after cleansing and toning. It is less moisturizing than the oil-free lotion from the same brand, but it works well for hot weather. Unfortunately, it may not be enough for dry skin, so you'll need to apply a cream on top. It doesn't cause irritation or new breakouts. I can't say anything about lightening effects since my skin is already fair, but my freckles haven't completely disappeared even after using it for almost a year. The product lasts a long time - one pump is enough for my entire face and part of my neck. I apply it on damp skin after toning, and it really reduces the amount I need to use. It's a decent basic skincare product, but don't expect miracles.
