I have tried all the lipsticks from this line, and in terms of hold, this lipstick is weak, despite being labeled as strong hold. However, the vanilla scent is pleasant. The yellow tenax has medium hold, while the green tenax has strong hold, so I recommend something from these two options.
Great product, I bought it for my husband to use for styling. It has a pleasant smell, reminiscent of coconut oil, and doesn't leave any greasy residue. It works well for fixing straight hair in place. There are some negative reviews below, but perhaps their hair is coarser.
Long-lasting, sweet unpleasant odor. The container feels like aluminum foil. It doesn't hold my hair in place.
The hold is closer to zero... not even average! The scent is strong and sickly sweet, vaguely vanilla-like, leaving a trail like perfume (not masculine or unisex). Five minutes after applying to the hair, it dries up and irritates the nose. The tin is made of thin metal, and every time you open or close it, it bends and leaves dents. It's horrifying in that tin. I do not recommend it.
