1. Prepare the nail surface as usual for applying UV/LED gel polish and remove any oils from the nail plate.
2. Apply a base coat and cure it in a UV lamp for 2 minutes or an LED lamp for 60 seconds.
3. Use colored UV/LED gel polish as a base layer. Apply it in 2 coats, curing each coat.
If using a non-sticky gel polish, apply the base coat in a thin layer.
4. Place pre-cut foil fragments onto the sticky layer of the colored gel polish or base coat using tweezers, and press them down with a dry brush. Leave a 2-3 mm gap around the edge of the nail. Cure in the lamp.
5. Apply a top coat for UV/LED gel polish to seal the design. Cure it.
6. Remove any residual stickiness.
If the foil is not perfectly smooth, remove the sticky layer and buff the surface with a buffer.
7. Apply another top coat for UV/LED gel polish and cure it in the lamp.
8. Remove any remaining stickiness with a lint-free sponge.
Your original "Broken Glass" effect design is now complete.
