Great product. Attention: you will need more than one packet.
This is my first experience with hair dye removal. My hair is straight and was lightened to a level 9 base. I dyed it with Matrix Socolor Cult Semi-Permanent Lavender Macaron 3 weeks ago.
I mixed the lightening powder with warm water. One packet is not enough for long hair. There are some inconveniences in using it. Firstly, the mixture is very strong, so I couldn't do the procedure in a closed bathroom. I moved to the kitchen and opened a window. Secondly, it is difficult to apply the liquid itself as it is very thin and drips from the brush.
The product worked quickly and effectively! The purple turned into turquoise right before my eyes, and I left it on for about 22 minutes. The green pigment did not completely wash out, so in reality, my hair is not platinum but mint-colored.
So, the product is great. It did not damage the hair structure. Definitely, it needs to be kept on for a longer time to reach the base color (if the hair structure allows it).
P.S. I wonder how it removes permanent dye.
The hair dye remover is pretty good, it even lightened my natural color at the roots. However, there is very little of it, which is why I am deducting a star. For medium-length hair, you need to use 3-4 packets so that your hair is fully submerged in it and then it will definitely wash out the dye effectively.
