At first, I didn't understand it, so I put it aside until summer. But now I understand it. I agree with the previous comment about applying it with fingers on prepared skin that has absorbed previous care products. Because it will immediately clump up due to its consistency. You only need a small amount, as the product is thick and dense, which I like. A pea-sized amount is enough for the whole face. It spreads beautifully with fingers, doesn't run or streak. You just need to find the right approach.
In the summer, my skin is oily and prone to breakouts, but I didn't notice this cream exacerbating them. My shade is 203, and I'm a brunette who usually tans, but it has been two years since I went to the sea, so my complexion has become pale with a yellowish undertone. I rarely guess the right shades online, but fortunately, I got lucky this time. I still recommend this product if you don't mind getting used to its thick consistency.
At first, I was very satisfied with it. I chose shade 203, but it turned out to be too dark. Shade 100 Ivori matched perfectly. It provides good coverage if you learn how to apply it correctly. Definitely not with damp sponges or brushes. Also not with a dry sponge. The best coverage was achieved by using SPF cream first, then applying the foundation with my fingers after it absorbed a bit, and finally distributing it evenly on my skin and neck. To avoid a mask-like appearance on my face, I could use a dense brush to work it in.
The coverage is very dense.
However, there is a big "but" that made me completely give up on this tone and choose another one instead.
The main component of this foundation is oils.
The pores get clogged and start producing an excessive amount of their own products, and since the face is covered with a film, inflammation starts to develop. Closed comedones appear in just one day, especially if the skin is prone to breakouts. It is difficult to wash off from the face after application.
I really liked it. I bought shade 010 and I add a darker base to adjust the tone. When applied directly, it doesn't spread evenly regardless of the application method.
I didn't like the foundation. It feels like a horrible mask on my face, and I just want to wash it off quickly.
If you decide to get it, keep in mind that it may be darker than it appears on the tester. I chose a shade that matched me perfectly on the tester, but in reality, it turned out to be reddish and dark.
I absolutely love this foundation! It has a thick and mousse-like consistency. I mix it with a more liquid foundation, and it applies perfectly. It gives me a beautiful and even complexion that lasts all day long.
Shade 010 is very light, it mattifies well, but it sinks into my enlarged pores... What should I do? And at the end of the day, the foundation is visible in my pores. It didn't work for me, it was a waste of money.
I purchased the shade 203 True Beige. When combined with a more liquid foundation (mixing different shades), it is simply amazing.
This matte foundation is absolutely fabulous! It mattifies extremely well. The shade 010 Porcelain is very, very light.
I regret my purchase, it was a waste of money and four days of ruined mood (I experimented with different creams and bases under this foundation). It masks like a granny, sinking into every pore and wrinkle. My combination skin gets even oilier, just like with all other foundations, and there is no mattifying effect whatsoever. Shade 103 - it looks yellowish, not light, but after application - it whitens the face, making it look white. In short, I do not recommend it at all for those with even the slightest enlarged pores, wrinkles, and oily skin.
I purchased shade 203 (true beige). It seems decent, holds up well, and has a matte finish. However, the texture feels somewhat dry, and the shade is quite light. If you prefer a darker tone, it is recommended to start with the shade "sand".
I really liked it. The texture is very lightweight, like mousse. Throughout the day, there is no shine in the T-zone, and it doesn't transfer onto clothes too much. It doesn't feel like a mask, and its coverage is medium, I think. It evens out the skin tone without any problems and conceals small pimples. The shade 100 is without a yellow undertone. Do not confuse it with the Stay Matte. These are completely different products. The latter is very dense, while this one is not. I will definitely buy it again.
It suited me and I liked it. It lays very evenly and inconspicuously, hiding all imperfections, and is quite durable.
