I purchased this powder from the official Chanel website, so I can't even suspect it to be a fake. However, this powder doesn't gather on any brush, you just keep rubbing and nothing happens. I bought it to set my makeup or touch up during the day. In the end, I have to scratch the powder with my nail just to get a little bit of product. Luxury indeed.
I ordered a powder and was expecting it to be delivered from Europe. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with the shade as 40 is too dark, even for my tan skin. The brush picks up the powder very lightly, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that. Additionally, I was unpleasantly surprised by the scent as I was expecting something more Chanel-like. I will try using it in the summer and for contouring, if it works out. Before this, I was using a Dior powder with SPF, which was perfect. Unfortunately, it wasn't available, not even as a refill.
Wonderful powder. I got shade-30, and it perfectly suited my pale and uneven skin tone. It applies evenly on my face and evens out the complexion, giving a natural look. The packaging is also impressive, minimalistic and of high quality.
