Maybelline Tattoo Liner Gel Eye Pencil

I bought an icy blue pencil. I liked the color, but applying it on the eyelids is extremely difficult. It is very hard. It draws well on the hand, but doesn't want to work on the eyelids.

I bought it from a different place, although I chose it based on the reviews here. I read that some girls had allergic reactions to it, but I hoped that wouldn't happen to me since I'm not allergic. However, I tried using it twice and both times, after about 10 minutes, my skin started to sting and turn red. The discomfort lasted for a few hours. It's strange that despite so many similar reviews, the manufacturer didn't change the formula to prevent these reactions. After the second time, I simply threw it in the trash.

I tried to tame it, but it was impossible. It smudges under the eyes, even after half an hour of application, it becomes panda-like by the evening. Moreover, the remnants are quite difficult to remove with micellar water.

The pencil is... it's not regrettable, not soft enough, holds well on the eyes, doesn't look too sharp on the eyes, but I won't buy it again.

I chose the brown color. It is really nice, doesn't smudge on the eyelids, maintains its shape, and beautifully accentuates the eye shape.

I love this pencil! It is soft and draws beautifully. The only downside is that it is not very convenient to draw fine lines on top. The pencil draws thin lines, and the color is a nice shade of blue, not too dark. I recommend using a cosmetic sharpener to get the best results. I bought one for 5 UAH at Aurora, and it is the larger size.

The brown color is simply divine. It perfectly enhances the eyes, not subtly, but as if you lifted them with long-lasting eyeshadows.

But why is it not mentioned anywhere that it can be sharpened like a regular pencil?! I have already thrown away two just after a month of use, buying the exact same new one.

It is difficult to apply, but the black color is intense. I don't know how to create wings with this product because it is not thin and cannot be smudged, unless you use a makeup remover. It can only be removed with a makeup remover as well. It would be a great long-lasting product, but unfortunately, it leaves dark circles under the eyes, making it unsuitable for eyeliner. So, it turns out that it smudges and is not easily correctable at the same time. It has all the drawbacks on both sides. Overall, it is tolerable, but far from perfect.

I ordered here but from a different post two weeks ago. I ordered a white gel eyeliner pencil and I have been using it for about 1-2 weeks and I have a quite good impression of it! (I will attach a photo below) I apply the pencil on the mucous membrane of my eyes, in the corner of the eye and on the nose. It doesn't cause any discomfort to my mucous membrane and it stays well throughout the day. And it's also cool that you can sharpen it. As for the downsides, if you layer it too much, there may be clumps.

I ordered a gel eyeliner in shades 900 - Black and 977 - Soft Brown, so I would like to leave a positive review. They do not smudge or transfer onto the lower eyelids, which is usually the most important factor when choosing cosmetics. They apply smoothly and leave a vibrant pigment (I am particularly pleased with the dark brown color, which I tried for the first time). The plastic stick makes sharpening a bit inconvenient, but they feel pleasant to hold in the hand. & #x1f496;

I have been using various cosmetics for over 20 years - both expensive and cheap - and I have never had any allergies. None, until I bought this pencil. It's just terrible. About an hour and a half after applying it, the nightmare begins: my eyes start watering, my eyelids swell, and it's simply unbearable until evening. The first time, I thought maybe I got sick or it was just a coincidence, but the same reaction happened the next time. That's why I absolutely do NOT recommend it.

I bought a nice pencil, I got the gray one, shade 901. It's perfect for everyday use.

The pencil has a vibrant color, draws smoothly, is long-lasting, and is difficult to smudge intentionally. However, there is one drawback! It is impossible to sharpen it, not even to a fine point. It's not because of the terrible plastic, but because the lead breaks when you start drawing a line. Horrible! Even much cheaper pencils don't have this problem. Perhaps the manufacturer needs to reconsider the form factor and make this pencil mechanical!

I am very satisfied with the quality of this pencil. It has a wide range of brown shades and also includes black. The application is smooth and the longevity is excellent. I have no issues with the actual pencil - I use Chanel sharpener for regular pencils.

I have been using the 921 Ice Blue for several years. Over time, it has started to dry out and become difficult to draw with. However, it is an economical option and I use it to create accents on my lower eyelid. It is also long-lasting.

I ordered two right away - emerald and gray. The colors are really cool, easy to apply, and long-lasting. Everything was fine until the moment of sharpening... it's like trying to sharpen plasticine.... I'm disappointed.

I will give it two stars only for its durability. But apart from that, there are continuous negatives. The sharpening is problematic; I have to push the lead out with a cotton swab from the other side of the pencil. It smudges way too easily. It's soft, unbelievably soft. At room temperature (it's autumn outside!), it's like modeling clay. Do I have to keep the pencil in the fridge just to be able to use it? This is the worst pencil I've ever had. I have significant concerns about its formula and texture.

My favorite pencil. It stays on for at least an hour (unless it's a gel eyeliner, of course). With this pencil, I can have precise lines for half a day, and by the evening, it fades a bit and looks like a subtle smoky effect. It looks amazing. This is already the second one I've bought. I have it in the amethyst color. It's a great find for brown eyes.

I mistakenly bought this product, confusing it with a similar mechanical pencil from the same brand. 932 colour

This pencil is amazing, I have several of them. The green color is incredible. 932.
I use it for drawing eyeliner and it stays on all day, even in summer or at the gym. It doesn't work as well on the waterline, but it's still pretty good.
I don't have any allergies, even on the waterline, even though I have sensitive eyes.
I love using the 960 rose gold on the lower waterline.

I bought it for lining the upper inner eyelid and for the lash line. I've used it a couple of times to draw a line and smudge it, and it looks beautiful, but you need to smudge it right away. It's very difficult to remove, micellar water and face wash are not enough to remove it on the first try, it finally comes off completely on the 2nd or 3rd day. Because of this, I use it rarely, I would use it constantly if it was easier to remove since the pencil is soft, it looks expensive on the eyes, it doesn't smudge or run from the inner eyelid.

It didn't work for me. I feel discomfort in my eyes. Besides, it is very difficult to remove. It is also hard to blend.

I have been purchasing this product in black color for the third time. It runs out quickly and wears out fast. However, the pencil is fantastic! Without a doubt, I will buy it again.
