It provides good protection (I have melasma and haven't had any new spots this season). However, it conflicts with almost all of my foundations (such as Touch Eclat, Armani Luminous Silk, and Tilbury concealer). It gives a powerful shine on the face, so it's definitely not suitable for oily or combination skin (mine is dehydrated). I got tired of dealing with this protection every morning, so I switched to using it on my neck and décolleté instead.
Great sunscreen, it has a subtle shimmer and does not feel greasy. It stays put and does not leave a white residue on the skin.
