Dull Hair Shampoo Kerastase Elixir Ultime Le Bain

I have curly, porous, uncolored hair that often looks dull. I wanted some shine and decided to try this series. The shampoo is quite average for me. It didn't add any special shine, and on the days I use this shampoo, my scalp feels slightly itchy. I use it in combination with the mask from this series, and the mask is also average. It makes my hair too soft and fluffy, and for some reason, it gives the impression of being lighter. Maybe if your hair has a dense texture and is stiff, it would suit you better and have some special effect. The scent of the shampoo is honey and flowers, but it doesn't have any special appeal to my sense of smell. I don't really enjoy the fragrance.

I really liked this shampoo. My hair is normal in length, slightly oily at the roots, and I usually wash it every other day. The shampoo lathers nicely and rinses off quickly from the hair. It has a very pleasant perfumed scent. My hair shines after using this shampoo. It did not cause any dandruff or scalp irritation.

The shampoo is good as it adds shine, but it cannot be used frequently as it tends to make the skin oily. Overall, the shampoo is effective.

I have tried various shampoos from this brand and I always come back to Elixir Ultime. The black one is also nice, and I absolutely love the oils.

Terrible shampoo. This is my first encounter with this brand - and it is a complete disappointment. I can't say that I was expecting something "wow". But not this horror.

It foams up like fairy (the foam rises, there is nothing particularly special about washing the head), while tangling the hair so much at the roots during washing that it is simply impossible to wash the scalp. I couldn't comb my hair without a mask and conditioner.

I have tried many different shampoos, and I did not expect that such a highly advertised product could be bad.

It gives the impression that it is a fake.

The texture is light and easy to apply, leaving the hair soft and pleasant to touch throughout its length. I have oily roots and dry ends, and my hair looks clean for about a day, which is already very good for my hair. Therefore, the shampoo effectively cleanses the scalp.

The shampoo is excellent! When used together with the oil from this series, it works wonders on my colored and fine hair. After using it, my hair shines, feels soft, and looks voluminous. I will definitely be buying it again!

Amazing shampoo! I have naturally straight hair that reaches my shoulders, slightly burnt at the ends. My hair shines incredibly after using this shampoo, it becomes more voluminous, and the effect lasts for three days. However, the shampoo does dry out even my natural hair, so it is necessary to use a mask or oil on the ends afterwards. I don't think it would be suitable for blondes with dyed hair because it tends to dry out the hair.

I liked the shampoo: it washes well, and my hair doesn't tangle or feel dry after use. However, I have to wash my hair every day, whereas with other shampoos, I never have to wash it more often than every 2-3 days. My hair isn't particularly dull, but I don't see any effect from the shampoo, except for a clean scalp throughout the day. I have never dyed my hair, so maybe it will work better for colored hair.

Nothing happens. It simply cleans the head. Even with conditioner, the hair remains dry after using it. A shampoo should just cleanse, but BES and REDKEN do a much better job of making the hair soft and silky, and they are cheaper.

The shampoo is excellent. I have long, dyed hair that is very dry. I couldn't comb it without oil. After my vacation, my hair was in terrible condition. I bought this shampoo and my hair became very manageable, soft, and alive. Once a week, I use a mask from the green series to restore my hair.
For better effect, it is definitely worth getting a hair polish and/or trimming split ends. I also use heat protection (from a different brand), it's essential.

The shampoo consumption is optimal, one bottle lasts for more than 3-4 months for long hair. I will buy more.

The shampoo is not bad, but in my opinion, nothing special. I really don't like the smell, it reminds me of my grandmother's old perfume or powder...

But the biggest inconvenience is, strangely enough, the lid. In this day and age when everyone is trying to make the customer's life easier, Kerastase has a removable screw-on lid that requires several turns (I have a shower cabin and not many surfaces, so when I use the shampoo, I have to figure out how to close the bottle with the hand that holds the shampoo, and often it starts leaking, resulting in wasteful usage. Overall, it's not critical of course, but it causes unpleasant emotions every time I use it. That's how it is.)

This is my absolute favorite shampoo. After using it, my hair becomes voluminous, soft, and incredibly shiny. The scent is a whole separate topic.

This is not the first time I have purchased shampoo from this company. It is perfect and suits me well. I definitely recommend it!

I have tested this shampoo and hair oil from the same line. The conditioner is from a different brand for now. Overall, I am satisfied and will continue using it. Next, I will test the conditioner and mask. It cleans well, and with my normal scalp, my hair looks fine for about three days. However, for those with oily scalps, more frequent washing may be necessary.

In terms of usage, it's normal - a 250ml bottle lasted me a month and a half. This is with daily washing of my bangs and overall hair washing every three to four days. It did not cause dandruff or any reactions, even though I switched to it from sulfate-free organic products.

I have natural, porous, and thick hair that tends to frizz in all directions. Overall, after using the shampoo + conditioner (from a different brand) + oil on towel-dried hair along the length, my hair is in a good condition and shiny.

The downside is that it has a fairly strong and long-lasting scent. I wouldn't say it's unpleasant or overpowering, but I prefer less intrusive fragrances.

The packaging is pleasant and convenient - the bottle is easy to open, close, and squeeze out the shampoo.

But overall, if you look at it without additional care, and if you have normal, undamaged hair, the shampoo is just like any other shampoo. I have always believed that shampoo is simply for cleansing and it's silly to expect miracles from it. I think any other shampoo with a normal formula can do the same job. However, I am a believer in the idea that the most effective care comes from using products from the same line. There might be some synergy between the ingredients.

Great shampoo. My hair feels incredibly smooth after using it. I don't even need to style it anymore, as the tiny hairs (baby hair) don't stick out in different directions. And the scent, oh my goodness, it's divine. It genuinely smells like some expensive, high-quality perfume. My hair is fully moisturized, 100%. I will definitely be buying it again. I have tried around 8 different Kerastase shampoos, and this one is in my top three.

I have a whole range of Kerastase products at home, and they are all fantastic. Specifically, this shampoo effectively moisturizes the hair and has a divine scent.

This is the best thing that has happened to my hair. I use this specific series every two weeks, a month, so that my hair doesn't get used to it. It feels like I just came back from a professional salon treatment. The only thing I regret is that there is no 500ml volume option.
