Opuntia Oil Esent

Oil from prickly seeds, extracted from the fruits of the prickly pear (Opuntia ficus-indica), is refined. It exhibits strong mosquito repellent, moisturizing, and immunizing effects on so-called "photoformation processes." This is a much more affordable version of the ideal organic oil (also available in our store).
The prickly pear is a plant from the cactus family that naturally occurs in Mexico and Central America; the Aztecs considered it a sacred plant. The first fruits arrived in Europe after the return of Columbus's expeditions (hence the name "Indian fig" in translation). The plant easily adapts to various soil conditions, hence it is cultivated in North Africa (Morocco).
The oil, which contains vitamin E and Omega-6 acids, is an ideal cosmetic for mature skin care. It deeply moisturizes the skin and effectively reduces wrinkles. The "tightening" effect is noticeable after the first use. It differs from its more expensive counterpart in terms of absorption rates.
Thanks to sterols, it effectively prevents water loss through the skin, and also has anti-inflammatory, toning, and stimulating effects on processes related to the regeneration and healing of the epidermis. A unique feature of prickly pear oil is the strengthening of the immune system in the skin (immunostimulation).
Due to its high content of substances that activate the HSP protein, phytosterols, and additionally zinc, the oil stimulates the skin's natural repair processes. As a result, the skin becomes more resistant to external influences, becoming less susceptible to irritations and inflammations.
