Perhaps someone will find my review helpful. However, I absolutely do not recommend this cream. I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts, and I have been treating acne for 7 years. I always used a different cream, but it ran out and I had this unused one at home as a gift. I used it for about 2 weeks and the results were awful: my pores became enlarged, I developed a bunch of closed comedones and subcutaneous pimples, while my skin used to be completely free from breakouts, smooth, and clean. I absolutely do not recommend it. I give it 2 stars for its pleasant smell and temporary effect of evening out the skin.
The cream is good, but sometimes it feels like it melts on my skin. Especially during hot weather, but otherwise it's all good.
I have been using this product exclusively for 3 years. I have pores, acne, and uneven skin texture. I am even afraid to switch to something else because when I use it, I have no breakouts, it holds the powder well, and it doesn't flake off. I also love their micellar water and pink cleanser. I recommend everyone who has the same issues as me to remove their makeup with their pink micellar water, cleanse their face with the pink cleanser (don't choose the green one), and apply this cream. Your skin will gradually become more even (breakouts will somehow disappear). I am 35 years old and before using this cream, my skin was like a chocolate bar with nuts. Now everything has disappeared. It works perfectly under powder and foundation, just make sure to cleanse your skin properly. With this skincare routine, there are no signs of flakiness on the skin.
This cream is just ordinary, it has both its pros and cons. It lacks any noticeable effects, but it does last for a long time (which is its only advantage).
It does provide a matte finish, HOWEVER, throughout the day even SPF rolls off of it, and after a week of using it at night, my skin became covered in inflammations. It didn't work for me. The scent is very chemical, which may be important for some people.
Combination skin, no breakout issues. This cream is good, it doesn't roll off and doesn't cause acne. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky, it mattifies the skin. It doesn't have an overpowering scent and lasts a long time. It won't provide super-duper hydration, but it works perfectly for maintaining the skin during the summer.
I was expecting more from the cream. It leaves a rather silicone-like mask, so it seems like the skin has become smoother and better. However, the effect only lasts for a few hours and it is not healing, just cosmetic.
It provides pleasant moisturization, but leaves a mask-like residue on the skin. When sweating, it creates a greenhouse effect since it doesn't allow moisture to escape, leading to even more breakouts. I used it for 3 months, but once I realized its issue and removed it from my skincare routine, my skin condition improved.
The cream is excellent! As soon as I start using it, my acne immediately disappears. I have normal skin with open pores, post-acne, and occasional breakouts. I have already used 3 tubes. I used it in winter and spring, and it provided enough nourishment. My skin was great. In the summer, I decided to try another cream from Renew, but when the cold weather came, my skin started to peel and small breakouts appeared. I put the cream aside for warm weather and returned to this one. It probably suits me perfectly :)
I really liked this cream. I have problematic skin that is prone to acne and blackheads. The cream does not dry out my skin and I have significantly fewer breakouts when using it in conjunction with the face wash from the same line. I usually use it at night. I don't like creams with a strong scent, but this one is perfect.
I have been using this product for over a month, so I think it's time to leave a review. It does help with reducing active red breakouts on my face, but unfortunately, these breakouts have transformed into under-the-skin pimples. The only positive aspect is that my face doesn't feel tight or overly dry like it sometimes does with combination skin. Additionally, my face doesn't appear oily, unlike when I use Effaclar La Roche. Therefore, I can only give it two stars. Overall, I will have to find a different skincare product.
Did not help with breakouts, money wasted. Does not reduce inflammation on the face, and it's quite expensive.
I have combination, problematic, sensitive, and dehydrated skin. At first, it seemed like the cream was great because it perfectly evened out my skin tone and had a matte effect. However, after a week of use, my skin developed a very large number of breakouts.
The cream is really nice: it has a good texture and a pleasant fresh scent (it reminds me of some kind of mint and gentle menthol). The skin becomes matte after using it, but not overly dry. The skin feels velvety to the touch.
The downside is that it cannot be used as a makeup base - the CC cream goes on it in patches and chunks. My friend had the same issue, so I only use this cream at night or in the morning when I don't need to go anywhere or apply makeup. I have to buy a universal cream from Cerave because makeup applies properly on it.
The cream has a terrible silicone smell and, moreover, it caused subcutaneous pimples.
The product worked well for my problematic skin.
After visiting the cosmetologist, I was recommended this face cream for skincare. I am very satisfied with it. I was able to quickly restore my skin after the procedure and I use it for daily care. However, there were moments of peeling, especially when applying SPF (after 20 minutes). I recommend the cream itself, as I have seen comments saying that if you wipe your face with toner before using it, there will be no peeling.
The cream provides mattifying and soothing effects. However, it tends to roll off terribly.
Terrible cream! It oxidizes and turns pink in the tube. It smells like ammonia-free paint! People, think about what you're putting on your face! If you have inflammations, it won't help you, but worsen the situation! It doesn't even suit any skin type! I have combination skin. It doesn't work with charcoal either. In short, it's a waste of money.
A fantastic mattifying cream that soothes the skin and leaves no redness behind.
This cream is useless! I didn't write a review right after the first use, even when I liked the cream and it seemed like the inflammations were going away, but then everything went back to square one! I've been using it for just over two weeks. Money wasted! I'll use it up anyway because the cream has a nice scent and slightly moisturizes the skin.
This cream is very good. It soothes the skin, making it smooth and pleasant to the touch. It doesn't leave a film, feels non-sticky, and doesn't shine on the skin. It's my favorite among the creams from this brand.
Excellent product for oily skin.
I bought this product to try something new after using their Bioderma Sebium Hydra Moisturising Cream, but I am completely dissatisfied with it. It feels heavy and doesn't compare well to the previous one I purchased.
No effect whatsoever, difficult to apply and rolls off ridiculously easily.
We were satisfied with this cream - I bought it for my 17-year-old son. It eliminated inflammations and made his face "clearer". We used it in combination with a face wash gel from the same brand.
It works well, but in order to see results, you need to use it for a week.
The product has a light semi-liquid consistency and a barely noticeable scent, which makes it suitable for warm weather. It did not provide the desired matte effect, so I will try something else.
Overall, I really liked this cream. It soothes problem skin, moisturizes, mattifies, and helps reduce breakouts. It should be applied to clean skin. The effects are noticeable after just one week of use. However, for acne scars and serious breakouts, it may take longer to see results. The packaging is convenient, but the cream gets used up quite quickly (30 ml volume). The Makeup service is top-notch. Orders are processed quickly, and delivery is very fast!
One of the best products for problem skin. A dermatologist gave me a sample, and I happily bought it afterwards. At first, it feels a bit oily, but only for the first minute. It moisturizes very well, which is rare for this type of cosmetics. It also mattifies beautifully and actually reduces redness where there are leftover marks from pimples. I am just soooo satisfied!
I do not recommend this product as it tends to clump and leaves unpleasant sensations on the face.
Terrible cream that rolls off. I do not recommend it.
I bought it at a pharmacy. The cream slides off, you can't touch your face. It also says on the label that it's a great makeup base. I talked to a representative from Bioderma about this and they recommended using it alone. No additional toners or serums. Just cleansing and cream. But the situation hasn't changed. So I don't understand if this cream actually works at all, or if it just leaves a film on the skin, waiting to be washed off or simply rolling off with any touch.
This cream worked perfectly for me. Surprisingly, it doesn't roll off at all. I would also like to mention that it doesn't dry out the skin, but rather mattifies it. I have oily skin, and it suited me perfectly. Additionally, it is not advertised as an acne-healing cream, but rather intended for moisturizing problematic skin. Perhaps the reasons why this cream didn't work for some people lie not in the cream itself, but in the incorrect selection of cosmetics.
It clogged my pores, caused blackheads and cystic acne. I never had anything like this even during my teenage years. I don't understand how it can be positioned as a product for combination and oily skin when it not only fails to solve the issues but also aggravates them.
I bought this product not for makeup purposes, but from a pharmacy, as it was out of stock here at the time. What I want to say about it is that I don't understand the real purpose of this cream. It doesn't really have any effect, despite waiting and waiting for results, there was none. It can be used under makeup, but you have to be very careful when applying it. Powder helps prevent its terrible smudging, surprisingly. However, without makeup, it's a disaster, it smudges horribly! But I don't recommend it because it dries out the skin significantly. In general, it doesn't fulfill its functions at all. I give it three stars simply because it didn't cause any allergic reactions, and for that, I am thankful.
The cream is lightweight and doesn't cause any irritation on the face. However, its drawback is that it tends to roll off easily, making it unsuitable for makeup application.
The cream is excellent. I bought it on the advice of a dermatologist for treating mild acne. The cream evened out my skin tone and stopped pimples from appearing. Additionally, it mattifies the skin perfectly. Blackheads have become less noticeable. The only decent downside is that a few hours after application, redness appears on the skin and itches slightly. However, they go away within the day, so I only use it at night. During the day, I use the Bioderma Sebium Hydra cream.
Finally, I have found a product that doesn't leave any stickiness on the skin even after several hours. It truly mattifies and doesn't cause any breakouts, making it perfect for oily and combination skin.
Great cream, it effectively evens out the skin tone. Redness disappeared in just a few days.
Surprisingly, this product clogged my facial pores, which led to breakouts even in areas where I never had any before. Its dense texture, however, may not be suitable for summer.
I have been using it for 2 weeks now and the effect is incredible.
I bought it not here, but at a pharmacy. The cosmetologist recommended this cream to me as a moisturizing cream for oily and sensitive skin during the summer. I really liked it. The cream doesn't leave a greasy film. After using it, my skin feels silky and matte, as if it has been powdered. It applies dry powder well and doesn't roll off. I have been using it for 2 years now. For winter, I choose a thicker cream.
The cream lives up to its description and does not create a feeling of having cream on your face.
I was also recommended this product by a doctor from abroad. The cream is just average. My skin feels oily in the morning (my skin is thin and slightly dry). There are much better products out there. I do not recommend it for those with thin skin.
I have sensitive combination skin prone to breakouts. A cosmetologist recommended this line for daily care. I really like this cream - it noticeably mattifies the skin and dries it out. It doesn't fully absorb, but forms a soft layer on the skin that feels very pleasant to touch. It can't be called a film, more like a silky dusting, non-sticky and non-greasy. This is very convenient if you don't use any other product on top. However, this surface smudges if you rub it, meaning it won't work well under foundation, but it's perfect under powder. In just 3 days, it's already noticeable that there are fewer inflammations and shine on the skin. I use it together with a cleansing gel and Global cream. It would be great to have the option to order small trial packs to make sure the cream suits the skin before buying it.
The cream is impossible to use under makeup as it rolls off. It provides a slight mattifying effect, but it did not have any impact on redness (sensitive skin).
The Sebium line was recommended to me by a dermatologist when I was 15 years old. Thanks to this, I was able to cure my acne. Some products from this series stopped working for me, but this cream has remained my favorite for 6 years now. I apply it locally to problem areas (at night) and always see good results in the morning! I definitely recommend it.
Very impressive. In reality, all skincare products have a very individual effect. It suited me so well that I have been using it for at least 5 times now. It eliminates shine, reduces breakouts, and is not as aggressive as other products for treating problem skin.
