These Botanic creams do have a slightly heavy film-like consistency, but it is completely harmless! I even like that it mattifies, protects the skin, and always has a fresh scent, either floral or otherwise. I enjoy the tingling sensation on my skin, as it helps the cream fight bacteria, with or without alcohol. Besides, the tingling sensation quickly fades away. I have combination skin and have never experienced clogged pores or side effects. The only thing is that it doesn't fully moisturize. But it's just a lightweight cream, for deep moisturization, you need to use different products. Because as a basic skincare cream, it's excellent! I always make sure to have it on my shelf, along with other products from this brand. My love for it has been going on for over 15 years)

I was not particularly impressed with this cream. It has a greasy texture that feels heavy on the face. It leaves a shiny, oily residue on the skin, as if I hadn't even washed my face. Unfortunately, this cream does not provide adequate moisture for my dry skin during the winter.
