Christopher Dark CHD 5 Eau de Parfum is a version of the famous and eternal Chanel No. 5. It belongs to the group of woody-floral aromas suitable for women who love true classics in perfumery, which is at the peak of fashion at all times. The composition conveys true femininity, complementing the image of an elegant and self-confident woman.
The olfactory pyramid of Christopher Dark CHD 5 Eau de Parfum:
Top notes reveal refreshing aldehydes, dry neroli, and exotic ylang-ylang framed by the citrusy duo of bergamot and lemon.
Heart notes envelop the body with delicate jasmine and rich May rose shades.
Base notes form a long-lasting trail woven from sweet ambergris, noble sandalwood, spicy vanilla, and earthy vetiver undertones.
I made a mistake with this water. In my opinion, Chanel is more bitter. But this water smells more like baby soap. It's without any fragrances, just a soapy scent. However, it has good longevity. This water is very similar to Tesori d'oriente's White Musk. However, the latter is a bit softer. But they have the same direction.
Updating my review. I tried the perfume. It's interesting. After 10 minutes, the uplifting notes of naphthalene fade away (probably, those are their retro aldehydes), and the scent becomes cold and distant. It doesn't seem to go well with my body. On its own, I like it. It reminds me of the smell of new clothes, new shoes in stores, mixed with the aroma of cosmetic departments and expensive perfumes. The scent is interesting, not cheap. It doesn't remind me of any specific fragrance. You can wear it, just don't apply it in the presence of other people and don't immediately go outside with it. That would be a crime against humanity)) I really like how it smells in my closet. It's an interesting experience, but I won't buy more of them.
Oh well! The smell is retro, like grandma's wardrobe. Quite suffocating. I will give it a try. I will write an additional review later. For now, it's definitely an acquired taste.
