The effect of sun-bleached hair does not lose its relevance. Thanks to the product from the legendary brand John Frieda, this effect can be maintained throughout the year, even when the sun no longer pampers with its warm rays. The formula contains a natural brightening complex that gently reduces color pigments in the hair.
The delicate composition of the shampoo allows you to use it for daily hair washing. The product does not contain ammonia and peroxide. The shampoo is specially formulated for natural, tinted or highlighted blonde tones. The shampoo with Citrus and Chamomile extracts will not only achieve the desired effect, but also significantly improve the condition of the hair. Your strands become softer, silky and shiny.

Chemical - contains a high amount of sulfates.
I thought it would be my favorite, but after using Highlight Activating Hair, it shines incredibly! But this one is still amazing too!
The shampoo smells nice and cleans well. It lathers up nicely. It is clear that it will make the hair drier because it contains sodium lauryl sulfate. I didn't notice any mega brightening effect specifically from the shampoo. Maybe it works better in combination with other products from this series. Because I also have a conditioner and a brightening spray. I haven't been to a colorist for 2.5 years now, but this option may not be suitable for everyone.
During the summer, I used the shampoo and conditioner. This hair care routine slightly lightened my natural hair color, allowing me to go without a trip to the hair salon for some time.
After several uses, my hair became like straw, the lighting does not work (the conditioner brightens well on its own), it dries out.
This is my third shampoo from Kerastase. On its own, it doesn't have any effect without conditioner. I haven't noticed any reduction in hair breakage. It didn't work for my sensitive scalp, as it causes itching and doesn't rinse well (a large amount of shampoo is needed to wash the hair). Pros: reduces frizziness, pleasant scent.
This is an ordinary shampoo for everyday use. I haven't noticed any lightening effects (my hair is brown), but I use it together with conditioner.
The shampoo is good and smells nice, but after using it for two months along with the conditioner from the same line, it is not effective at all.
Terrible shampoo! I do not recommend it to anyone. I have never had dandruff in my entire life, but after using this shampoo, it appeared.
This shampoo is amazing, I've been using this line for many years. I have thin but quite thick hair, and I used to have a serious problem with tangling. It's much better after using this shampoo and conditioner. It has a pleasant salon-like scent. My hair becomes slightly lighter, as if after being in the sun, just as advertised. Don't expect to become a blonde bombshell after using this shampoo 🤪, or if you're already a blonde, your hair won't become lighter))) It's perfect for brunettes and light brunettes.
I did not like this shampoo at all. It makes the hair very thin and lacking volume. For natural blondes with soft and thin hair, this effect is completely undesirable. The hair becomes brittle and difficult to style, even with hairpins. The chemical smell is unpleasant. There is no lightening effect whatsoever (natural blond hair went from shade 8 to 9).
Interesting shampoo, with a thick creamy consistency that creates an unreal amount of foam when in contact with water. Now the consumption is very economical, plus it has an unbelievably pleasant salon-like scent. It cleanses the hair very well without the need for additional washing. I believe it has a cumulative lightening effect, which may become noticeable in one or two weeks. Definitely a must-have when paired with the conditioner as an addition.
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for several years. The scent is quite pleasant (I was surprised by comments about the smell of onions because there is absolutely none of that). It suits my hair very well, it doesn't dry it out, and it cleans nicely.
As for the color, it adds a sun-kissed effect to my natural light shade (meaning it slightly lightens it), and it looks really nice.
The shampoo is overall decent. It caused dandruff for me after some time, but my hair still looked presentable on the third day without using half a bottle of dry shampoo. However, it didn't work at all for my sister. She washed her hair in the evening and it was very greasy the next morning.
Regarding the lightening effect: I am already a level 9 blonde with cool undertones, and because I had dark hair and a copper tone, the yellowish tint bothers me.
I bought this shampoo and conditioner from a Polish store. I read that it lightens the hair. Yes, it does lighten it. But into a yellow, warm shade! It contains citrus in the ingredients. My cool tone got lost.
Like the mask of this series, the scent of fried onions is very unpleasant to me. However, it effectively removes yellowness and the shampoo cleanses well with a pleasant application. Unfortunately, the enjoyment of using it is diminished due to the smell.
The shampoo is very thick, like cream. I didn't notice any special effect, but I only have one shampoo from this line. It may slightly lighten, but it started to seem to me that it gives my cool natural brown hair a warm shade, adding yellow tones and reddishness.
Even after the first use, it is noticeable that the hair is lighter and more shiny. I have colored and porous hair. After using this shampoo, the hair is styled better. The frizziness of the hair is almost non-existent.
The hair will become dry if used more frequently than once a week and without conditioner (can be any brand, not necessarily this one). It beautifully illuminates even natural hair, after blow-drying or exposure to direct sunlight. I have been using this shampoo for 7 years now.
This product really dries out the hair.
Coconut oil effectively reduces yellowness.
This shampoo does not make the hair greasy, it makes them shiny like after a salon treatment. However, my bleached hair turned yellow after using this shampoo. Therefore, this shampoo is not suitable for platinum blondes.
The shampoo is amazing! My hair looks as if I just came out of a salon, it's simply gorgeous. It's really awesome, but unfortunately, my hair gets used to it quickly.
The effect did not meet my expectations. If left on for too long, the hair turns gray. If used more frequently but only for a few minutes, it damages the hair, making it brittle like straw. Even with conditioner, the overall outcome is quite disappointing. However, the John Frieda conditioner is gentler and has a decent effect.
This shampoo is ordinary and does not have any lightening effect. It did not live up to my expectations.
If you use the shampoo without the conditioner from the same line, your hair becomes straw-like. However, when used together, it is acceptable.
The shampoo is fantastic. I use it to remove blonde dye from my hair because it contains a lot of alkalis (laureth and lauryl), which creates a strong lather and removes the dye in one go. Additionally, it contains lactic acid, which not only slightly lightens the hair but also conditions it (neutralizing the alkalis). As a result, my hair is not stiff but, on the contrary, smooth and flexible, and it styles well. I only use it once a month when I dye my hair, so it lasts a long time. However, it is expensive compared to other beauty products.
Is this a sulfate-free shampoo?
The scent is pleasant and the consumption is low, but for some reason, the hair becomes very stiff. I use conditioner, it's a must-have.
This shampoo, as well as the conditioner from this series, was given to me by my sister from Germany. I finished the shampoo quickly. Unlike the conditioner, I liked it, it was good.
The shampoo has a pleasant smell, according to my taste. It effectively cleanses the hair until it squeaks. However, it does not lighten the hair as claimed by the manufacturer. I have used it a couple of times, so maybe it has a cumulative effect.
