Soothing Ointment for Dry Skin Bioderma Cicabio Pommade

I used a sample of this cream before (the sample was not from a makeup store, but from an official international website), and I really liked it, so I decided to buy the full-size version. I don't know if it was stored incorrectly (I even took the last one), but the cream came with a strange texture: it separated completely and when squeezed from the tube, some liquid poured out alongside the cream.

I have damaged skin barrier on parts of my face due to using tretinoin, and the sample cream helped a lot with moisturizing those areas and completely eliminated skin peeling. Since the sample ran out, I still decided to take a risk and apply this full-size wonder-mess on the damaged areas, because maybe the cream's effect hadn't changed, but unfortunately, I didn't see any benefit like I did with the sample. The cream on my face separated even more, the skin started peeling again, and there was no moisturization at all.

I won't say that the cream is bad, because the one in the sample literally saved my skin. But something definitely happened with this one, because about a third of the tube just spilled out as liquid into the sink, and the effect is no longer the same.

Unfortunately, it did not work for me. After applying it, within a few minutes, it starts to sting and gives such unpleasant sensations that I just want to wash it off. I have never had such a reaction to other creams before.

I probably have around 5 tubes of this cream. It's a bit greasy, but it's perfect for those with dry skin. Especially at night!

This cream is more like a SOS remedy for when your skin barrier is compromised. For example, in cases of severe wind exposure, allergies, or after peels and laser treatments. I had a CO2 laser treatment done to lighten my skin (post-acne, sunspots). I needed a product that would create a barrier on my skin after such a procedure. With this cream, healing indeed happens faster. It doesn't absorb or absorbs very little. It's inconvenient, of course, but it works.
